过去进行时的用法.新兴县环城中学邝乃二Whatareyoudoing?Wearehavingclasses.Whatwereyoudoingatthistimeyesterday?WhatwasJanedoingatthattimeyesterday?Shewastakingashower.ThetelephoneringswhileJaneispracticingtheviolin.2.Whatareyoudoing,Jane?I’mpracticingtheviolin.3.Whatwereyoudoingatthistimeyesterday?Oh,Iwastakingashower.am/is/are+v.ing现在进行时was/were+v.ing过去进行时ThePastContinuousTense过去进行时由be动词的过去式was/were加动词现在分词构成。过去进行时主要表示过去某个时刻或过去一段时间正在进行的动作。过去进行时常与表示过去的时间状语如then，atthattime，atthistimeyesterday，amomentago等连用，或者用另一动作来表示过去的时间。如：Itwasrainingalldayyesterday.(过去一段时间)昨天下了一整天雨。Theywereplayingbasketballatfouro’clockyesterdayafternoon.（过去某个时刻）昨天下午4点他们在打篮球。Wewereworkingfromseventoelevenlastnight.我们昨晚从七点工作到九点。(过去一段时间)过去进行时的肯定结构：was/were+动词的现在分词+其他过去进行时的一般疑问句结构：Was/Were+主语+动词的现在分词+其他？Theywereplayingbasketballfromninetotenyesterdaymorning.肯定回答：Yes,主语+was/were.否定回答：No,主语+wasn’t/weren’t.——昨晚10点的时候你在看书吗？——是的，我在看书。/不，我没看。——Wereyoureadingat10:00p.m.lastnight?——Yes,Iwas./No,Iwasn’t.例如:他们昨天上午从9点到10点一直在打篮球。___________readEnglish__________________________playthepianosleepskateWereyoudoingsomecleaningatthistimeyesterday?Yes,Iwas.No,Iwasn’t.过去进行时的一般疑问句及其肯定和否定回答：Were/Was+S+v.ing+O+time?Yes,Swas/were.No,Swasn’t/weren’t.Example:A:Whatwereyoudoingfromseventonineyesterday?B:IwaslearningEnglish.Wereyouplayingcomputergames?A:Yes,Iwas./No,Iwasn’t.3Lookatthepicturesandmakeupconversationswithyourpartner.7:00-9:00a.m.chatwithfriends7:00–7:30a.m.listentothenews9:00–12:00a.m.planttrees2:00–4:00p.m.visitamuseum4:30–6:00p.m.practiceEnglish6:30–7:00p.m.eatBeijingroastduckGrammarPastContinuousI___________ashoweratthistimeyesterday.Manypeople_____________togetherintheirwarmhomes.________youplayingcomputergames?Yes,Iwas./No,Iwasn’t.What_______you________atthistimeyesterday?I_____________someclothes.wastakingweregettingWereweredoingwaswashingJimandYingyingarebackatschoolinBeijing.Jimisveryexcited.Beijingisoneofhis________cities.Fromninetoelevenyesterday,Jimwas____________________and______________,andYingyingwas______onaplaneand_______topassthetime.OntheplanefromNewYork,Jim_______________computergamesuntiltheyservedthefood.favoritedoingsomepackingsomecleaningsittingreadingwasplaying录音2-P72
