General 1.1 Objective This document serves as an outline method statement for the on-site construction activities to be executed under the trade contract for Sands Macau Refresh - New Entrance. The purpose of this method statement is to indicate the sequence of the façade works. 1.2 Scope of works The project is at Sands Paiza North – New Entrance A&A works. 1.3 Resources Required *Temporary site office with appropriate storage area for daily operation during construction period *Logistic planning for material delivery so as to carter for the timely programme; and to carry away of the construction debris. *Scaffolding and Platform System *Hoisting and rigging equipment for handling the steel post and wall glazing panels *Slightly welding work 1.4 Programme Please refer to the attachment 2. Works Sequence 2.1 Preparation Works 3. Prior to the commencement of the installation works, the hoarding(see 4. Temporary Works & Hoarding) and the following preparation will be completed: 2.1.1 Site surveying will be carried out to verify the location of various cast in item. Any discrepancy to be found, and it will be reported duly and on timely attitude and coordinate with relevant parties for follow up action. 2.1.2 Site facilities and services are available at the work places, 2.1.3 Materials delivered and plant mobilized in accordance with the programme 2.1.4 Scaffolding adjusted in accordance with the installation requirement and programme of works. 2.1.5 Erection of temporary works setting up hoisting chain block and lifting mechanism for glazing plane and aluminum cladding 2..l.6 Before delivery of steel posts and glazing panels from factory to site, all will be inspected as per QA requirement. 2.1.7 A site safety implementation planning shall be undertaking to an assigned representative. 3.1 Removal of Existing Curtain Walls Application of the movable & adjustable at height platforms to enhancing the work safety and efficiency; all lifting devices for glazing and aluminum cladding to be checked in advance and store in a proper place. 3.2 Demolition Concrete Slab and Walls To conduct a detail and precious site surveying on the structural features and define the stability of adjacent building works. Reinforcement works will be applied whenever necessary. And coordinate with Trade contractor 942955 to the SB1 installation shall be installed prior the demolition of the Mezz Level. The detached piece can be removed immediate after cutting. Circular blade saw cutting, besides cost effective and time saving, is able meet the demand of effective, efficient and high quality performance. Cutting depths range from 50mm to 1,500mm, the blade is fixed with artificial diamond cutting edges that can cut concrete as well as the embedded steel reinforcement clean and sharp at the same time.    This method is suitable to be applied on walls, floors and suspended slabs. All setting will be verified in terms of all post plate locations and levels. It will be counter-checked against tolerances with QA/QC format and approved design drawings. 2.4.1b Deliver of the pre-assembled primary post net-works; it will divided into 4 major parts (subject to the FSD’s design); should be at the mounting moment whenever the fixing process is ready. And it may involved a temporary storage within the hoarding area last for a week time only. 2.4.1c The secondary sub-frame, fixing anchor and cladding/glazing panels are to be stored on site upon their work sequencing. 2.4.1d Lifting the primary post to be by a crane track and some chain block with ragging equipment will be using as stabilizer and assistance and which may fixed on the structure concrete for the time being. We will arrange a qualified banks man for any lifting. Competent workers should be familiar with particular details of drawings and quality requirements of specification. 2.4.1e Prior to installation, the surfaces, scaffolding and plant will be checked and inspected in accordance with ITP. (submission separately) 2.4.2 Cover up with External Casing     2.4.2a Levels/positions of the secondary sub-frame are checked in details and ascertain all accordance to the approved drawings.     2.4.2b Insulation materials and background panels (if any) will be placed.     2.4.2c Affixing of the Al. panels and glazing will be utilized with proper sucking/lifting equipment and leveling to be under serious monitoring. 2.4.3 Curtain Wall & Glazing Panel     2.4.3a The erection of Al post and transom are to be guidance with the infra-red machines.     2.4.3b All fixing anchor will be checked and testing mechanism to be carried out in accordance with the relevant specification.     2.4.3c Affixing of the glazing panels including the doors will be utilized with proper sucking/lifting equipment and leveling to be under serious monitoring     2.4.3d Prudent Measures:     *Lifting equipment will be inspected for reliability     *Weight of each object is observed, over loading is prohibited.     *Barricade area below where lifting to ensure safety of site operation.     *All workers will be provided with safety equipment for wearing. 4. Approval of Installation Check list will be submitted separately 5.
