科学家贡献大还是艺术家贡献大？Artistsandscientistsbothmakevaluablecontributionstooursociety.Itmayseemsometimesthatartistsaremorevalued.That'sbecausethoseartistswhoarefamousmakealotofmoney.However,theyarerelativelyfew.Thefactisthatscientistsaremorevalued.Theygetmorerespectfromsocietyfortheworktheydo.Artistsreflecttheirtimesandtheirculture.Apainterorawritershowsusinpicturesandwordswhatwe'relikeasapeople.Theyrecordourcultureforfuturegenerations.Actorsandotherperformers,likesingersanddancers,entertainus.Theytakeourmindsoffourtroubles,andremindushowbeautifulandexcitingourimaginationscanbe.Artistsalsohelpkeeptheirsocietiesmentallyandemotionallyhealthy.Forexample,childrenthatparticipateinthearts,suchaspaintingormusic,inschooldobetterintheirotherstudies.Artofalltypesisnecessarytothehumanspirit.Thecontributionsscientistsmaketosocietyaremoreobvious.Theyincludethecarswedrive,thecomputersweuseathomeandatwork,andtheappliancesthathelpuscookourmealsandcleanourhouses.Allofthesecomefromtheideasandhardworkofscientists.Becauseofscientificdiscoveries,we'relivinglongerandmorehealthfullives.Scientistsalsocontributetothearts.Moviesaretheresultofscience.Soaretelevision,radio,andtherecordingofmusiconCDs.Generally,scientistsdon'tmakeasmuchmoneyasfamousartistslikefilmstars,operasingersorsuccessfulpainters.However,oursocietygivesthemmorerespect,andtheygenerallymakeagoodliving.Scientistsareconsideredtobeseriousprofessionals,whileartistsaresometimesviewedasflaky,irresponsiblepeople.Sooverall,I'dhavetoconcludethatwevaluescientistsmore.
