Ibelievethebeautyofthespokenwordisevenstrongerforthosewhohavedifficultyinexpressingthemselves. Thesepeoplearereclusiveandhadtheiremotionshiddenwithinthem. IoncewenttoAustraliaandIsawtwopictures,Oncewasdrawnbyanormalchild,theotherwasdrawnbyachildwithsocialinhibitions. Thepicturedrawnbythenormalchildwassimpleandplain. Theotherwaslife-like,fullofdetailsandimagination. Whatthisshowsisthattheseareideas,emotionsandfeelingsthatarelockedinternallyinthesechildren. Myidealistobethekey,spreadingthebeautyofthespokenwordstothesechildren. Thesechildrenhavebeenneglected,butIfeelthatIcanandshouldhelpthesechildrentofindthemselvesandbeabletoexpressthemselves. Irealizethatthisisadifficulttask,andtherearemanyobstaclesontheway. ButIbelieveinmyidealsandIwillsticktothem--eveninthefaceofadversity.
