---来源搜集，文内均可编辑---来源搜集，文内均可编辑PAGE2---来源搜集，文内均可编辑清华大学许吉如：TinyStart,BumperHarvest日期:2011-04-20许吉如：清华大学选手,第16届21世纪杯全国英语演讲比赛冠军，中国日报社21世纪报最具潜力奖，宝人最具人气奖获得者。演讲稿：HaveyoueverboughtanyfoodonthetrainAnddoyouaskforthereceiptafterbuyingitNowadays,alltrainsinChinaprovideitspassengerswithreceiptsforcommodities,but7yearsago,thingswerequitedifferent.On13thofOctober,2004,thetrainT109fromBeijingtoShanghaiwasspeedingontherailway.Agraduatestudentboughtasausageat1yuanonthetrain,thenaskedforareceipt.“AreyoukiddingIt’sjustoneyuan!”Thecrewmemberwassurprised.Thestudent,however,answeredinadeterminedvoice,“Ipaidthemoney,soIdeservethereceipt.”“Butwenevergivereceiptsonthetrain.’Asaresult,hisfurtherrequestwasturneddownbyacoldshoulder.Severaldayslater,thestudentsuedtheNationalRailwayMinistry,fornotprovidingreceiptsforpassengers.Tohisdismay,thecourtturneddownthecaseforlackofevidence.Buthe,whomajoredinlawatthattime,believedlawasamostpowerfulweapon,sohedidnotgiveup.Instead,hebeganhisjourneyofcollectingfirst-handevidencebytakingtrainsandbuyingcommoditiesaboard.Whenhisclassmateswereplayingsoccer,hewastakingthetrain;WhenhisclassmateswerebuyingfoodatMcdonald’s,hewasbuyingfoodonthetrain;Whenhisclassmateswereaskinggirlsout,hewasaskingforthereceipts.Ashejoked,‘Iwaseithertakingthetrainoronthewaytotakethetrain.’Onemonthlater,heappearedinthecourtagain,withnewly-collectedevidenceandastrongerconfidence.AndIguess,ladiesandgentlemen,youwillallcheerfortheresultbecausethistime,thestudentwonthecase.Verysoon,aregulationaboutreceiptsonthetraincameout.Andwhateverwebuyonthetrainnow,there’sareceiptforus.Outsidethecourt,thestudentwasasked,“Howdoyoumakeittotheend”Hesaid,“Asalawstudent,Irootmyfaithinlaw.Ibelievethatlawisthere,toprotecteverypersonwithnoexception,andtoensureeverypersonhasasay.”Hiswordsspreadastrongfaithinlaw,whichisnotonlyadoctrineofalawstudent,butalsoabeliefthatallcitizensoughttohold.Itisthisfaiththatinitiatesthestudenttoresorttolawforatinyissue;itisthisfaiththatsupportshimtoendurealltheexhaustingtripswhencollectingevidence;itisthisfaiththatmakesaseemingly“ridiculous”receiptrequestlegalandrightful.Itisthisfaiththathelpstochangeourlife,enhanceourjudicialsystemandbringsocialjustice.Tomany,areceiptof1yuanistoosmalltomention,howeverrightsaretoberespectedandlawistobebelievedin.Itallstartswithatinyreceiptof1yuan,butwegetamonumentalcase,anewregulationandabumperharvestinsocialjustice.Thebridgethatleadsatinystarttoabumperharvestisfaith,thefaithinlaw,rightfulandstrong.
