Figures: 1. There are about 130 daily and Sunday newspapers published nationwide. Background knowledgeBackground knowledge 2. National newspapers have an average total circulation of over 14 million on weekdays and about 16 million on Sundays. 3. On an average day 60 percent of people over the age of 15 read a national morning newspaper; about 70 percent read a Sunday newspaper.
