Dear Mr. Smith:
The complexities of today’s international economy demand a high level of expertise in many different areas of the law. In order to continue to meet our clients’ legal
needs, it is important that our firm keep pace with this growing demand. With these
challenges and opportunities in mind, we are pleased to announce that we will merge
with Jun Zhao Law Firm headquartered in Shanghai. Jun Zhao is a well-respected,
client-oriented professional partnership, specializing primarily in intellectual property
law. This new association will be effective on July 4, 2004.
When considering a merger, it was important that both firms share the same concerns
and goals for client satisfaction and quality service. In addition, both firms should
possess the necessary knowledge and experience that are mutually complementary.
As a client, you will notice little change or inconvenience. Our office location and
telephone number will remain the same. I will continue to be your principal contact
in the firm.
We are excited about this new association and about the opportunities to better meet
your legal needs. We hope that our expanded resources, timeliness, and additional
expertise will be beneficial to all of our clients.
