Teaching procedures
Step1:Lead-in
Teacher ask students some questions ,like"Do you know how to introduce yourself to other people? ""How to ask for other people`s name?""How to introduce other people?".Through these questions ,teacher can start the new lesson.
Step 2:Main sentences
Teach the main sentences of this lesson,like"What's your/his/her name?""My name is...""His/Her name is...".This part connects with lead-in.
Step3:Pair work
Show some pictures of famous persons.Then let Ss do the pair work.One need ask the names of the start and the other one answer it.

Ss introduce themselves to their group members,like this
Step5: New contents:
Show a picture of a student.Then through this picture ,teacher students the knowledge of Chinese first name and last name.
Then show another famous forign person`s picture to students.And teach students the knowledge of English first name and last name.After this let students find out the difference between Chinese and English first name and last name.Finally, the teacher show the correct and standard rule to students.
Step6: Exercise:
Show some famous persons` pictures to Ss.Let them do exercise about first name and last name.
Step7:Dialogue
Show the key sentence patterns to Ss.Then let them make dialogue.After this let some of them perform to other Ss.
