Zibo Central Hospital is built in 1950，it has accommodations for more than 1300 patients which is also the largest comprehensive hospital in zibo city. Furthermore, it is also the medical care/education/scientific research/ preventive health central. In October 2010, Qiaolian hospital was annexed by central hospital and became its north hospital district. The hospital covers 80,000m2, gross area is 170,000m2. Now over 2300 people are working there, among them, 330 employees are Senior technicians, the number of municipal academic leaders is 34, and 34 people are municipal famous doctors. The hospital has 42 clinical departments and 19 technique departments, owns several provincial clinical intensive departments such as ICU; Pathology; General surgery; Orthopedics; E.N.T.; and municipal intensive departments, like Cardiovascular department; ophthalmology; neurology, etc. Zibo Central Hospital has the ability to perform multiple sophisticated operations such as: mini - traumatic operation in treatment of HIH and intracranial aneurysm undertaken; minimally invasive lumbar discectomy; complex Stent implantation; open heart operation under cardiopulmonary bypass; bypass operation of coronary artery; total hip or knee arthroplasty etc.
The hospital has many domestically first-class equipment, including 3.0T and 1.5T MRI, 64 multi-detector helical CT, ECT、DSA、DR, gastrointestinal capsule endoscopy, etc. Furthermore, we cooperated with America GE Company and set up some teaching bases. Zibo Central Hospital uses the idea of patient-centered medical treatment method as main objective and concentrates on developing advanced medical science and technology. So far the hospital has been selected as National model hospital assured the people(全国百姓放心示范医院) and Advanced collective of national health system（全国卫生系统先进集体）.
