张家界武陵源景区的英文介绍 峰 张家界最奇特的自然景观～是密集、连片、绿丛覆盖的 石英砂岩峰林。 峰林的开成～经历了漫长的历史阶段。十五亿年前的地 槽阶段初期～冲入海槽沉积物中的大量石英砂粒～为之提供 原始原料。中期出现造山运动～沉积物升露海面开成山脉。 张家界有“三千奇峰”之美称。由于峰大小高低不一～ 有的峰麓附峰、峰腰生峰、峰顶分峰～有的“横看成岭侧成 峰”～有的却难以定出峰的标准。峰林峰基均为石英砂岩～ 相对高度100米300米。1992年5月～世界自然遗产考察官 员桑塞尔、卢卡斯两位博士对张家界峰林实地考察后作了这 样的评语“以其成簇的砂岩石峰～可以与美国本部的几个国 家公园及纪念物相比……”有人还认为“大部分山峰展现出 美国及澳大利亚遗产地要更垂直的轮廓。”因此～张家界石 英砂岩峰林具有垄断性世界地位。 The most fantastic sight in Zhangjiajie is quartz sand rock hoodoos,dense,glomerate,and covers with green boskage. The forming of hoodoos took a very long time historic phase,and the original material came from a large number of quartz sand granules flushed into the marine sediments at the initial geosynclinal stage 1.5 billion years ago.Later at the moddle stage,as the orogeny occurred,thoes esdiments moved up and eventually formed the mountains. Zhangjiajie has a good name of “Three thousand miraculous peaks”,Due the different sizes and heights of those peaks,some have peaks attached at the foot or peaks grew at the sideor peaks intersected at the summit,some look like mountain range when viewed crossly but look like peaks when viewes sideways,and some are difficult to tell whether or not they are peaks.Both peaks and foundations are composed of quartz sand rock with relative height between 100m and 300m.In May 1992,Dr.Sangcel and Dr.Lucas,inspection officer of world natural heritage,made a field investigation to the hoodoos in Zhangjiajie,and the they made following comments;the glomerate sandstone peaks are comparable with several National Parks and monuments in the west ”.Some people believe “most of peaks of America…… display more vertical contour than those in the heritage places in Ameroca and Australia.therefore,the quartz sandstone hoodoos in Zhangjidjie is in possession of monopolizing status in the word. 水 张家界的山令人拍案叫绝～而这里的水则令人心旷神 怡。山与水的相互交映～描绘出一幅“山因水更奇～水因山 更秀”的幽美意境。 风景区有“水八百”之说～确切的说～较大的溪流有48 条。向东流的金鞭溪和索溪贯穿景区～并汇有琵琶溪、花溪、 沙刀溪、龙尾溪、矿洞溪等溪流～这些涓涓溪流～造成许多 山体被深切成狭长的纵横溃沟、峡谷。自西向东～越来越发 育～从而形成了大有天池及宝峰湖、索溪湖、小到紫草潭、 跳鱼潭等泉潭。十里画廓、沙刀沟、金鞭溪等构成了一幅清 丽的水景图画。 Tth mountains in Zhangjiajie are highly praised by the visitors,and what is more,the water in .Zhangjiajie is deemed carefree and joyous.Water and mountain,each shine and reflecting more brolloantly in other’s company,trace out a serene and graceful artistic conception of “More fantasticality of mountain is brought out by water,and more elegance of water is brought out by mountain”. There is a saying of “Eight hundreds of water” in the beauty spot,and precisely there are 48 large brooks,Jinbian Brook and Suo Brook both flowing eastward,run through the the whole scenic spot,converging Pipa Brook,Hua Brook,Shadao Broook,Longwei Brook, Kuangdong Brook.Allof those trickling streams have cut lots of mountain body deeply resulting to long and narrow gulches and gorges of both vertical and horizontal.Thoes gulches and g orges have d eveloped increadingly from west to eadt to come into being large lakes such as Sky Pool,Baofeng Lake and Suoxi Lake as well as springs and ponds such as Zicao Pond and Tiaoyu Pond.Ten-mile Gallery,Shadao Ravine,and Jinbian Brook altogether form a clear and graceful waterscape. 云 云是天子山奇观之一。而云逸景幻中以云海、云瀑、云 烟、云彩、云雾等千姿百态的云所表现出其独特的魅力:一 片又一片叠起来的浓云松松软软～犹如白絮～便形成了云海, 而从高处向低处倾泻～或在峡谷间流动的是云瀑的特征,还 有许多不规则的云有时候雾漫群山～有时候只流动起伏在山 腰之间,有时厚厚薄薄～遮遮掩掩,于万千变化中形成一缕 缕云烟～一片片云雾～一幅幅锦绣般的云彩…… Cloud is one of the marvelous spectacles in Tianzi Mountain.in the cloudscape scenery,there is sea of cloud,waterfall of cloud,smoke of cloud,color of cloud,and mist of sloud with thousands of shapes displaying its unique enchantment.The thick clouds piles up with numerous sheets are soft and spongy just like white blowball that forms the sea of cloud.Coming down in torrents from igh to low,or flowing in the canyon,is the characteristic of thewaterfall of cloud.There are many other anomalous clouds,sometimes they pervade all over the mountains like fog,and sometimes they flow undulate at the mountainsides;sometimes they are thick or thin,andsometimes they hide or veil.Out of thoes thousands of transformations,comes of the smoke of cloud in numberless threads,comes the mist of cloud in numberless sheets,and comes the color of cloud in beautiful brocades… 雪 “张家界不冬眠”。这里四周多高山～因此多为晴朗的 天气～故区域小气候较为温暖～畅游张家界无须冒严寒之苦～ 又可避开历酷暑之难。景区因海拨较高～山地气候又特别明 显～若放眼望去～枝枝叶叶便都成了水晶般的世界～精灵奇 怪的雾松千姿百态～笨拙憨厚的灌木清纯天成。若是有雪降 临～不管大小～山上立即全是一个白雪皑皑的世界～恰似翡 翠盘中堆砌着白玉～那些岩壁山上的枯枝古树～此时又焕发 了青春～让人不由得想到“春来苔作叶～冬至雪为花”。冬 天的张家界即使是冰天雪地～那临风玉树～那挺立的石峰～ 透过冰雪～仍然会展现一面面绿色的旗帜而显得生机勃勃～ 这便是张家界的雪与北国的雪所不同的地方了: “Zhangjiajie does not hibernate.” There are many high mountains surrounding this place,which results in bright and clear days most of tine,so the regional microclimate is much warm where one can enjoy a sightseeing tour without suffering from inclement weather while keeping away from sweltering summer heat .The scenic spot has a high altitude with distinct mountain climate,where people can see that all branches and leaves create a crystal world when taking a wide view.There are fairylike and peculiar misty pine trees with thousands of shapes,and there are inartificial pure bushes with clumsy but simple and honest look.When snow falls,whether heavy or subtle,the whole area on the mountain tumsinto a dazzling white world covered with snow,just like the white jades piling up in the emerald dish.Meanwhile those dead twigs and old trees bloom and look brand-new reminding people of “Lichen as lesf in spring,and snow as flower in winter”.Even if Zhangjia jie is a world of ice and snow in winter,these trees tall and straight,and thoes ridges and peaks standing firm,will still peenetrate the ice and snow to appear dynamic by exhibiting numerous green banners.And that is the sheer difference of snow in Zhangjiajie from that in the northland!
