仲夏夜之梦剧本(改编)

第一幕 (城中) [道具:两把椅子,一个镜子,一个梳子] (音乐起……) 旁白:There was a law in the city of Athens which gave to its citizens the powe r of forcing their daughters to marry whomever they pleased. For if a daughter refused to marry the man her father had chosen to be her husband, the father mi ght by thus law cause her to be put to death. 在雅典有一条法律赋予市民权力,可以强迫他们的女儿嫁给他们所喜欢的人,因此如果女儿拒绝父亲为她选的丈夫,依据这条法律,父亲可以自行判她死刑。 (Hermia正在梳头,突然她的父亲Egeus走了过来) Egeus: Hermia, you have to marry Demetrious, the best guy in the city. 荷米亚,你必须嫁给狄米崔斯,这城中最好的年轻人。 Hermia: I’m sorry, Dad! I can’t be his wife. 爸爸,抱歉。我不能成为他的妻子。 Egeus: Why do you refused to marry Demetrius? He is really a worthy gentleman! 你为什麼拒绝嫁给狄米崔斯呢?他是一个真正的绅士。 Hermia: But I don’t love him. I’ve fell in love with Lysander. 但是我不爱他。我已经爱上了莱赛德。 Egeus: Lysander? Is he better than Demetrious? No! 莱赛德?他会比狄米崔斯好吗?不! Hermia: Oh! Dad! Demetrious had ever said that he love my friend, Helena, and s he, a sweet lady also love him deeply. 喔!爸爸,狄米崔斯曾说过,他爱我的朋友——海伦娜,而这一个甜美女孩也深爱狄米崔斯。 Egeus: No matter what you say, I’ve decided to let you marry to Demetrious. I stick to do this! 不管你怎麼说!我已经决定让你嫁给狄米崔斯了,我坚决这样做。 Hermia: I won’t give my heart to the person who I never like. 我不愿把我的心交给一个我不曾喜欢的人。 Egeus: If you don’t marry Demetrious, I’ll use th e ancient right of Athens, a sking to put you to death according to our law! (下) 如果你不嫁给狄米崔斯,根据我们的法律,我将用雅典的古律法要求判你死刑。(拂袖而去) (音乐起,Hemia哀求父亲无果,蹲在地上伤心地啜泣……) Hermia: Oh! Please, please do not! My dear father! Don’t you love me any more? Don’t give me up, ple ase! 喔,不要,请不要这麼做,亲爱的父亲,你不再爱我了吗?请不要放弃我。 Lysander上场 Lysander: Sweet Hermia, my love! What’s going wrong? Let me wipe your heart-br eaking tears! 亲爱的荷米亚,我的爱人,怎麼回事?让我擦掉你那心碎的眼泪。 Hermia: My father said that unless I marry Demetrious, or he’ll be put me to d eath! What can I do?(用无奈的眼神盯着Lysander) 我爸爸说,除非我嫁给狄米崔斯,否则他将处死我,我该怎麼办? Lysander: Fear not and hear me. Tomorrow night, I’ll wait for you in the wood a few miles outside the city. If you really love me, getting far away this sad city with me. 不要害怕并听我说,明天晚上,我将在城外几哩的树林里等你,如果你真的爱我,就和我一起逃离这伤心的城市吧。 Hermia: I will because I love you so. 我会的,因为我如此爱你。 Lysander: Keep promise, love. Here comes Helena and I have to go. See you tomor row night! (二人依依不舍的分开了,下场) 一言为定,爱人。海伦娜来了,我必须走了,明晚见。 Helena上场 Helena: Hello! Hermia. 嗨,荷米亚。 Hermia: I’m so glad to see you, my friend! 我很高兴见到你,我的朋友。 Helena: But Demetrious love you. Oh, tech me how to attract his eyes, please? 但是狄米崔斯爱的是你,请教我如何吸引他的目光吧? Hermia: Take comfort, he no more shall see my face. Tomorrow night Lysander and myself will fly this place. We’ll meet in the wood. Please pray for us and do n’t tell others, good-bye! 放心吧,他再也不会看见我的脸了,明晚莱赛德和我将要逃离此地,我们相约在森林里见面,请你为我们祈祷,并且不要告诉其他人,再见。 Helena: I will go tell Demetrious of fair Hermia’s fligh t, and then he’ll pur sue her. I just want to have his sight again. 我要去告诉狄米崔斯,美丽的荷米亚将要离开,然后他将会去追寻她,而我只是想再看见他的容貌。 第二幕第一场(森林中) [道具:两把装饰过的椅子,一朵花,一个魔法棒……] (音乐起……“虫鸣阵阵,仙乐飘飘”) 旁白:The wood was a favorite meeting-place of those little, beings known by th e name o f fairies. Little kin g and green of spirits there happened, at this tim e, a sad disagreement. 这个树林是精灵最喜欢的聚会地点,可是仙王和仙后此时发生了严重的争吵。Oberon: I’ll meet by moonlight, proud Titania. 真不巧又在月光下遇见你,傲慢的泰妲妮亚。 Titania: What, jealous Oberon! Fairies, run hence; I have left his company. 嘿,嫉妒的欧波隆,小精灵们,快跑。我已经离开他了。 Oberon: Wait, foolish fairy, why do you oppose me so? You are my love! 等一等,傻精灵,你为什麼要违抗我? Titania: Set your heart at rest, your whole fairy kingdom will not buy my heart from me. (下) 别想,你就是用整个精灵王国也买不到我的心。 Oberon: Well, go your way. Before the morning dawns, I will make you suffer for this injury. Come here, my gentle Puck. 好,你走吧,在黎明之前,我一定要为这侮辱惩罚你。我的好派克,过来。 Puck: I’m here, my lord. 我在这儿,我的主人。 Oberon: Fetch me the flower which maids call Love in Idleness; the juice of tha t little purple flower, laid on the eyelids of those who sleep, will make them, when they awake, love madly the first thing they see. And before I will take t his charm from off her sight, which I can do with another charm I know of, I wi ll make her fall in love with me. 替我把少女们称作``枉费之爱``的花拿来,一旦将那紫色小花的汁液滴在睡眠者的眼皮上,当他们醒来时,便会疯狂的爱上所看到的第一件东西。在解除这魔法之前,我要让她深深爱上我。 Puck: I’ll do that very well. Believe me. (下) 我会办好这事的,相信我。 第二场 (Demetrious和 Helena 推搡着走了上来) Puck: Oh! Who comes here? Well, I am invisible. Let me listen to their conferen ce. 喔,是谁来了?但是他们看不见我的。让我来听听他们说些什么! Demetrious: D on’t pursue me. I do not, nor I cannot love you! 别跟着我,我不爱你,而且也不会爱你。 Helena:(苦苦哀求……) Even for that do I love you the more. Please let me follow you even I am like your dog. 即使这样,也只是使我更爱你。请让我跟着你,那怕我像是你的狗。 Demetrious: I am sick when I do look on you! 我一看见你就头痛。 Helena: And I am sick when I look not on you. 可是我看不到你就心痛。 Demetrious: Let me go. Cause I’m so hate you! (挣脱Helena走开了) 让我走,因为我是这麼的讨厌你。 Helena: Don’t leave me alone. Ple ase stay, though you kill me. (追着Demetrious 下) 不要离开我,请留下吧,就算你杀了我。 (在一旁的小仙侍Puck看到了这一幕,心中对Helena产生了同情之心……) Puck:The poor lady! I have to help her. 可怜的女孩,我得帮助她。 第三幕第一场 (森林的另一处) Lysander: Fair love, you faint with wandering in the wood; if you think it good, and tarry for the comfort of the day. 好人,你在树林中跋涉著,累得快要昏倒了,要是你同意,让我们休息一下吧。Hermia: Be it so, Lysander. Good night, sweet lover. 就照你的意思吧,莱赛德。晚安,爱人。 Lysander: I wish sleep give you all his rest! 愿睡眠给你充分的休养。 Hermia: I will share with you. 我愿与你分享。 旁白: At this moment, Oberon’s waiter Puck regard Lysander as Demetrious,and laid the juice of that little purple flower on the eyelids of Lysander. 这个时候Puck走了上来,却把莱萨德当成了荻米崔斯,并将圣水滴到了莱萨德的眼里. [Helena走了上来,无意间发现了Lysander躺在这里] Helena: I am out of breath in the fond chase! The more my prayer, the lesser is my grace. Who is lying on the ground? Oh! He is Lysander! Is he dead or aslee p? Good sir, if you are alive, awake. 这痴心的追赶使我累得喘不过气来,我愈是祈求,却愈惹他讨厌。是谁躺在地上?喔,是莱赛德,他是死了还是睡著了?好先生,如果你还活著,就醒醒吧。 Lysander: What a pretty beauty! Helena, I would through fire for your sweet sak e. 多漂亮的美女,海伦娜,我愿为你赴汤蹈火。 Helena: Do not say so, Lysander. Don’t you love Hermia? 别这麼说,莱赛德。你不爱荷米亚吗? Lysander: I don’t love her at all. For me, she is just a black raven, and you are a white dove. 我一点也不爱她,对我而言,她只是只乌鸦,而你是只白鸽。 Helena: Oh! Why was I born to be mocked and though nothing of by everyone? Is i t not enough, young man? That a lady, of one man refused, should of another be so abused! (下) 喔,为什麼我生下来就被每个人嘲笑,而不被尊重?年轻人,这还不够吗?一个女子被一个男人拒绝,还得忍受另一个男人的揶揄。 Lysander: Helena, my love,I will address my love and might to honor you and to be your knight!(追随而下) 莱赛德:海伦娜,我的爱人,我将用爱和力来尊崇你,做你忠实的武士。 [Hermia醒来,却发现心爱的Lysander不在自己身边] Hermia: Lysander! Lysander! Where do you go? No sound? No word! If you hear me, please talk to me! I swoon almost with fear. But, where do you go? 莱赛德!莱赛德!你去那儿了?没有回音,不说一句话?如果你听得到,请回答我,我快因害怕而昏倒了,但你去那儿了? Demetrious上 Demetrious: you are here, my dear Hermia! I found you for a long time. 你在这里,我亲爱的荷米亚,我找你找了好久。 Hermia: Do you see my Lysander? 你看见我的莱赛德了吗? Demetrious: who care? I would like to give his carcass to my hounds. 谁在乎?我宁愿把他的尸体喂我的猎犬。 Hermia: Out, dog! Do you really kill him? You are a devil! 滚开,恶狗!你真的杀了他吗?你这个恶魔。 D emetrious: Don’t be angry! You know, I don’t kill him. 别生气,你知道的,我并没有杀他。 Hermia: I won’t believe you at all! Lysander, I’m sure I will find you! (下) 我一点都不相信你!莱赛德,我确定我会找到你的。 [Demetrious见Hermia如此恨自己,就不再自讨没趣了] Demetrious:(独白)She is so angry. I’d better stop following her. I have to take a rest. To night is too tired! (睡) 她是如此生气,我最好停止跟随她。我必须休息一下,今晚实在太累了。 旁白:Surprisingly,the place Demetrious laid down was the right place Lysand er had slept! The juice seeped into his eyes soundlessly. 非常意外的是,狄米崔斯睡的地方就是来赛的睡过的地方,地上的圣水悄悄的渗入狄米崔斯的眼睛。 Oberon 上 Oberon: Oh my god! My silly Pack dripped the juice of that little purple flowe r into this young man's eye! 天哪!愚蠢的派克竟然把圣水滴到别人眼里! 第四幕第一场(森林中Demetrious沉睡之处) Lysander: Why should you think that I should woo in scorn? I just hope you coul d love me. 为什麼你要以为我的求爱不过是嘲笑你呢?我只是希望你爱我罢了。 Helena: Do you give Hermia up? You should vow to her. 你放弃荷米亚了吗?你的誓言都是应该向她说的。 Lysander: My heart to her but as a guest, now my heart to you as a son comes ho me, never leave 我对她的心不过像个过客,现在我对你的心就像回到家的游子,再不离去了。. Demetrious醒来(第一眼见到海伦娜) Demetrious: Oh! Helena, perfect goodness! How ripe in show your lips, those tem pting grow! Oh! Let me kiss your pure white hand. 噢!海伦娜!完美的女神!你的嘴唇是多麼诱人!让我亲吻那纯白的手吧! Helena: Oh! Spite! You both love Hermia, and now you both mock me! I know you h ate me, but you must join in souls to mock me too? 唉!倒霉!你们都爱著荷米亚,而现在你们也一同嘲笑我!我知道你们讨厌我,但为什麼还要联合起来讥讽我呢? Demetrious: Lysander, keep your Hermia. Helena is mine! 莱赛德,保留你的荷米亚吧!海伦娜是我的! Lysander: No! Helena, what he said is a lie! 不!海伦娜,他说的都是谎话! Helena: you make me confused. Who should I believe in? 你们让我迷惑了。我该相信谁呢? Hermia上{三个人正争执间,Hermia走了上来} Hermia: Lysander! You are here! Why did you unkindly leave me so? 莱赛德!你在这里!你为什麼如此忍心地离开了我呢? Lysander: Because I do not love you, don’t you know? 因为我不爱你,你不知道吗? Hermia: You speak not as you think. It cannot be. 你说的不是真心话,那不会是真的。 Lysander: All I say is true.I do hate you and love Helena.(Helena 欲走,上前拉住) You can be out of hope. 我说真的。我讨厌你而爱著海伦娜。你死心吧! Helena: Now I know that they have conjoined all you to fashion this false spor t, in spite of me. Unkind Hermia, if you had any pity, grace, or manners, you w ould not join with men in laughing at your poor friend. 现在我明白了,他们三人一起联合起来捉弄我。没情没义的荷米亚,如果你有点同情心,慈悲心,或一些礼貌的话,就不应该和男人一起嘲笑你可怜的朋友。 Hermia: I am filled with wonder at your angry words. I do not laugh at you; it seems you laugh at me. 你的气话真令我吃惊。我并没有嘲弄你,似乎是你在嘲弄我呢! Helena: Maybe it is partly my own fault, which death or absence soon shall reme dy. 也许一部份是我自己的错,生离或死别应该很快能弥补过来。 Demetrious: Don’t go, gentle Helena, please hear my excuse. My love, my life, my soul, fair Helena! 不要走,温柔的海伦娜,听我解释。我的爱,我的生命,我的灵魂,美丽的海伦娜! Lysander: I say I love you more than he can do. 我说我比他更爱你。 Demetrious: If you say so, prove it. 如果你这麼说,那麼证明一下吧! Hermia: Oh, Am not I Hermia? Are not you Lysander? What’s going on? 噢,我不是荷米亚了吗?你不是莱赛德了吗?为什麼变成这样? Lysander: Hang off, let loose, I don’t want to see you 放手,走开,我不想看到你。. Demetrious: If you want to win Helena’s heart, follow me now. And to try who i s right, of yours or mine, is most in Helena. (两人同下) 如果你想赢得海伦娜,现在跟我走。看看究竟海伦娜是该属於谁的? Hermia: What change is this? Oh! You thief of love! What, have you come by nigh t and st olen my love’s heart from him? 是什麼改变了一切?噢!你这爱情的小偷!哼,你趁著夜晚把我爱人的心偷走了吗? Helena: Good Hermia, do not be so bitter with me. I evermore did love you, Herm ia, did ever keep your counsels, never lie you. And now, let me go. You see how simple and how fond I am. (下) 好荷米亚,不要对我这样凶。我一直是爱你的,荷米亚,有什麼事总和你商量,从不曾欺骗你。现在,让我走吧。你看我是多麼傻多麼痴心。 Hermia: Ok, get you gone. I am amazed, and know not what to say. (下) 好,你走吧。我简直莫名其妙,不知道该说些什麼。 Oberon上 Oberon: Puck, you foolish! Listen! You heard, Demetrious and Lysander are gone to seek a place to fight in. I command you to fill the night with a thick fog, and let they shall not be able to find each other. And when they are asleep, dr op the juice of this other flower into Lysander’s eyes. 你听著:狄米崔斯和莱赛德已经去找地方打架了。我命令你使黑夜中充满浓雾好让他们找不到对方。当他们睡著时,就解除莱赛德的魔法。 Puck:I know, I know. 我懂,我懂。 Oberon: Go about this quickly, Puck. I will go and see my queen and beg her for give; and then I will release her charmed eyes from monster’s view, and all th ings shall be peace. (两人同下) 派克,赶快去办这件事!我会去看我的皇后并且乞求原谅而且解除她的幻觉。一切事 情都将和平解决。 Oberon重新施法 Oberon: Now, wake up, my sweet queen. 我亲爱的皇后,现在醒来吧! Titania: My Oberon, what a strange dream have I have! 我的欧波隆,我做了一个多麼奇怪的梦!我似乎爱上了一头驴。 Oberon: Here stands your love。这里站的就是你的爱人。 Titania: How came these things to pass? My heart is filled with happiness becau se we are new in amity. 怎麼会发生这些事呢?我心中充满了喜悦,因为我们又和好了。 第五幕第一场 (森林中四人熟睡著) [道具:两把椅子] (音乐起……森林某一处Demetrious与Lysander正要动手,此刻小Puck施展魔法使二人昏睡了,同时也遵照精灵王的吩咐,使四人都睡下后,解除了他们身上的爱情魔法) 旁白:These people, at no great distance from each other, sleeping on a grass-p lot. Puck: Look! How careful I am! I’ll release the magic. When you are awake, ever yone will find true love. This is really a happy ending! (下) 看!我是多麼的小心!我要解除魔法。当你们醒来时,每个人将找到真爱。这真是快乐结局! (大家都醒来) Hermia: Oh! Lysander, the doings of the night are too strange! Do you still lov e me or not? 噢!莱赛德,今晚真奇怪!你还爱不爱我? Lysander: I still crazy about you! But I dreamed I love Helena ……how mad! 我依然爱你的!但我梦到我爱上海伦娜,多麼疯狂! Hermia: Ay! I had the same dream! 哎!我做了同样的梦! Helena: Me, too. Now I just wonder if Demetrious love me as in the dream? 我也是,现在,我只想知道狄米崔斯是否还像梦中那样的爱著我? Demetrious: Helena, I promise, now all my faith and all virtue of my heart is o nly you! I do wish you, love you, long for you, and will for evermore be true t o you. 海伦娜,我保证我一切的忠信一切的心思只属於你,我渴求著你,珍爱著你,思慕著你,将要永远忠心於你。 Lysander: I think I see these things with parted eye, when every thing seems do uble. 我觉得好像这些事情我都用昏花的眼睛看著,一切事情都似乎模糊不清。Helena: I think so. And I have found Demetrious like a jewel, mine own, and not mine own. 我也这麼认为,我得到狄米崔斯,像是得到一颗宝石,好像是我自己的,又好像不是我自己的。 Demetrious: Honey, Don’t worry. I’m yours亲爱的,不用担心,我已属於你。Hermia: Oh! Here comes my father 噢,我父亲来了。 Egeus: You! You dare to get far away! I’ll beg the law, the law, upon your hea d! Demetrious, I’m so sorry! 你,你竟敢逃离!我将要求依法惩办你!狄米崔斯,真抱歉! Demetrious: Don’t say that. Now the lady I want to marry is Helena 别这麼说,现在我想娶的是海伦娜。. Egeus: Is it true? 真的吗? Lysander: Yes, it is. Please, please let Hermia marry me too, I’ll bring her h appiness, I swear. 是的。也请把荷米亚嫁给我吧,我会带给她快乐的,我保证。 Hermia: Oh! Dad! Please, he is really a perfect guy. 喔,爸爸!请答应吧,他真的是个完美的人。 Egeus: Hmmm…, since Demetrious wouldn’t marry you, I will no longer opposed y our marriage with Lysander. Now, you these lover, can we come home? 嗯,既然狄米崔斯不娶你,我也不再反对你嫁给莱赛德。现在,你们这些恋人,我们回家吧? 四人:Yes! 好! 大家一起离开森林 Oberon: Look! What the sweet couples they are! 看!他们两对恋人是多麼甜蜜! Titania: I like to see their smiling face. 我喜欢看见他们的笑脸。 Titania: Fairies, come h ere, in order to celebrate the happy ending, let’s sin g and dance! 精灵们,过来,为了庆祝这快乐的结局,让我们来唱歌跳舞吧! Fairies一齐唱歌跳舞 (音乐起) 旁白: And now, if any offended with this story of fairies and their tricks, th ey have only to think that they have been asleep and dreaming.
