With the development of our society, the computer gradually into our families. Many technological optimistists think that the popularity of the Internet benefits a great number of people. In contrast, a much smaller but growing number of critics believe that cyberspace is not the ideal classroom. And, I agree with the critics. I think, the network makes people lack of face-to-face communication.
We may believe that information is definitely available on the Web, but the problem is findng relevant , reliable, and non-commercial information. There is always difference between theory and reality. Opponents hold on that the Internet is not truly a democratic space with equal access for averyone. We always face all kinds of difficulties in distance lerning. And we may find it is not available to all students. That is to say, computers do allow students to expand their learning beyond the classroom, but the distance learning is not a utopia. Computer is convenient for us. But , in real life, it also has many shortcomings in terms of education. Many stundents may find that they spend days and days on the computer at the expense of their family and their studies. However, they can use these time to communicate with friends instead of surfing the internet. Unfortunately, computers tena to separate,not socialize stundents.
In a word, the computer is a convenient tool for our work. And ,we can not do it as part of our work or life. Only in this way, can we face new things in right way.
