4.表示微弱的一的概念。

5.用在表示身份、职业、国籍等的名词前。
She’ll be ___(a,an,the)dancer.
6.用在表示时间、速度、价格等意义的名词前,表示“每一”。
He drove the car along the highway at eighty kilometers ____(a,the an)hour.
7.用在姓名前,意为“一个叫……的”。

8.用在一些固定短语中。

二.定冠词的用法
1.用在说话人和听话人都清楚的人或物前表示特指。
Take ____(a, the )medecine.
2.用在再次被提及,上次已经出现过的名词前。
He bought a house.____(the, an)house has a beautiful garden.
3.用在表示世界上独一无二的事物的名词前。
The sun the moon the earth
4.用在表示弹奏的西洋乐器的名词前。
She practices playing _____(a, an ,the ,不填)piano every day.
5.用在某些由普通名次构成的专有名词前
The great wall the summer palace
6.用在表示姓氏的名词复数形式前,表示一家人或夫妇俩。
The smiths are watching Tv.
7.用在单数可数名词前,表示一类人或物。
Do you know who invented ____(不填,the)computer?
8.用在序数词及形容词或副词最高级前。
The yellow River is _____(the, a)second longest river in China.
9.用在由短语或从句修饰而表示特指的名词前。
Do you know____(the,that)woman standing at the gate of the school?
10.用在一些固定短语中。

三.不用冠词的情况
1.在某些专有名词(如国名、地名、人名)或表泛指的抽象名词和物质名词前。Mr Smith used to work in a book store.
China is one of the largest countries in the world.
2.在表示三餐名称的名词前。
He got up late this morning,and didn’t have breakfast.
3.在表示球类运动或棋类游戏名称的名词前。
Peter likes playing footballvery much.
4.表示泛指的可数名词复数前。
Teachers should encourage students to ask more questions.
5.在表示学科、语言的名词前。
My favourite lesson is art.
6.在表示季节、月份、星期、节日等的名词前。Autumn is the harvest season of the year.
What are you going to do on Sunday.
7.在固定短语中。
On duty
On foot
In English
In bed
In hospital
By bus
Go to bed
Go to college
*注意:有无冠词时意义不同的词组。
In front of 在……(外部的)前面
In the front of 在……(内部的)前面
At table 吃饭
At the table在桌子旁边
