浅谈初中英语阅读教学的有效突破 【摘要】英语阅读教学的重要性不言而喻，然而目前在农村初中部分教师的教学理念和思想认识跟不上新课改的 要求 对教师党员的评价套管和固井爆破片与爆破装置仓库管理基本要求三甲医院都需要复审吗 、英语阅读教学缺乏一定的计划性、目的性、教师教学方法和教学手段陈旧落后、课堂教学又漠视人文性教育、学生也缺乏良好的阅读习惯，这些都严重遏止了教学效果的有效生成。对初中英语阅读有效教学的研究就迫在眉睫。 【关键词】 英语阅读教学 有效性研究 整体教学法 《英语课程标准》明确指出:“语言技能包括听、说、读、写四个方面的技能以及这四种技能的综合运用能力。听和读是理解的技能，说和写是表达的技能;这四种技能在语言学习和交际中相辅相成、相互促进。学生应通过大量的专项和综合性语言实践活动，形成综合语言运用能力，为真实语言交际打基础。”阅读,作为获取信息的主要手段，它是语言学习的一个重要技能，阅读在英语学习中起着不可替代的重要作用，也越来越得到英语学习者的重视。《英语课程标准》在语言技能五级目标中对读提出要求如下: 1、能根据上下文和构词法推断、理解生词的含义; 2、能理解段落中各句子之间的逻辑关系; 3、能找出文章中的主题，理解故事的情节，预测故事情节的发展和可能的结局; 4、能读懂常见体裁的阅读材料; 5、能根据不同的阅读目的运用简单的将遇良才阅读策略获取信息; 6、能利用字典等工具进行学习; 7、除教材外，课外阅读量应累计达到15万词以上。 由此可见培养学生英语阅读理解能力的必要性和重要性，而科学的教学方法和有效的学习策略是实现这一课程任务的必然途径。目前我校正承担着区级的课题《初中英语阅读有效教学的初步研究》。下面我结合我们学校的英语教学实际，就英语阅读有效教学作一初步的探讨。 一、目前我校英语阅读教学存在的问题 1、教师教学理念和思想认识跟不上新课改的要求。一方面，部分英语老师没有充分认识到英语阅读作为英语语言技能的一部分，其阅读能力的培养与提高对帮助学生获取更多信息、知识，拓宽视野，激发兴趣，提高人文素养，提高 分析 定性数据统计分析pdf销售业绩分析模板建筑结构震害分析销售进度分析表京东商城竞争战略分析 、思考、判断能力，从而提高综合语言运用能力起着重要的作用。另一方面，部分教师过分地受到学生实际所影响，总认为我校英语是传统的薄弱学科，学生英语基础不扎实，难以进行以能力趋向为主的教学模式，不敢尝试、创新，从而 1 人为地束缚了思维，限制了自己的视野。 2、英语阅读教学缺乏计划性、目的性。目前农村中学英语教学任务重，内容多。学生阅读材料也仅仅局限于课本，教师平时轻视阅读材料的补充教学，也缺乏配套的符合学生年龄特点、认知能力的阅读材料。教师对学生课外阅读缺乏有力的指导和监督，没有明确的目标和计划，要完成新课标规定的五级课外阅读目标15万词有很大的难度。 3、教师教学方法和教学手段陈旧落后。即便在新课改的时代背景下，仍有不少教师采用老套的、陈旧的教学模式，他们对阅读材料的处理方式不外乎先在全班范围内花大量的时间讲解 词汇 英语3500词汇语境记忆pets3考试词汇二年级反义词和近义词初中词汇词汇大全考研英语二高频词汇表 和句式结构或是语法现象，再让学生听录音或跟录音朗读，然后就是根据课文完成一些机械的练习。实际上这样一来，整篇文章就会被弄得支离破碎，一篇阅读材料往往是教师讲完了，还有不少学生不能很好地理解全文的意思。学生对这样的英语学习失去了活力和生气，这也有悖于“以学生为本”的教育指导思想。 4、课堂教学漠视人文性教育。教师在阅读教学中把主要精力花在语言 知识点 高中化学知识点免费下载体育概论知识点下载名人传知识点免费下载线性代数知识点汇总下载高中化学知识点免费下载 的讲授和归纳上，很少有文化背景知识的浸透和阅读心理品质的培养。教师只顾忙于选题，不重视学生阅读兴趣、意志、习惯、自信心的养成，在很大的程度上漠视人文性关怀和教育。 5、学生缺乏良好的阅读习惯。 (1)学生容易逐字逐句的或大声朗读，或小声的心读，过度依靠视觉信息，这大大减缓了阅读速度，而且对文章的整体理解也会变得更加困难。 (2)过分重视细节，忽视了对材料的整体理解，把握不了阅读材料的中心和重点语段。一些学生阅读文章时，只注重文中的人物、事件或情节，而对文章的中心思想及作者的写作意图不求甚解。 (3)过度依赖学习工具，猜测生词的能力差。不少学生养成了遇到生词就离不开字典的习惯，缺乏了应逐步培养起来的猜词技巧，不利于真正掌握新的词汇和词组，也背离了语言作为工具被使用的真实情形。 (4)用汉语代替英语功能。学生在阅读过程中过多的依靠汉语，理解文章靠汉语翻译，从而在很大程度上影响了阅读的速度和效率。 (5)学生知识面狭窄，缺乏一定的英语语言文化背景知识。 二、英语阅读教学有效性的研究 2009年6月省教育厅提出了“五严”规定，其中一条要严格控制学生在校集中教学活动时间。这就要求在相对较为紧张的时间内教师要开展有效的教学行为，学生也进行有效的学习。为此我们对有效教学尤其是对阅读课的有效教学进行了一系列的研究和探索。 2 (一)有效教学的内涵 有效教学的“有效”，主要是指通过教师在一种先进教学理念指导下经过一段时间的教学之后，使学生获得具体的进步或发展。学生有无进步或发展是衡量教学是否有效的唯一指标。教学是否有效，并不是看教师有没有完成教学内容或教得精彩不精彩，而是看学生有没有学到什么或学生学得好不好。从某种程度上看，有效教学是一种现代教学理念，以学生发展为中心，强调以素质教育理论为指导，关注教学的有效性，注重教与学的统一，提倡教学方式的多样化和教学方法的灵活性。 (二)目前国内外对英语阅读有效教学的现状与研究 20世纪六十年代以来，国外阅读理论获得了巨大的发展，Holmes首先提出了多层次因素理论，由Singer加以丰富扩展。Cough，Laberger和Samuels为代表的一批学者提出了信息处理阅读模式。Rumelhart提出的交互式心理语言模式在EFL,ESL研究中获得了非常广泛的关注，之后，以Mathewson，Lunzer和Gardner为代表的一批学者，从社会交际的角度探讨阅读过程，提出了情绪型阅读理论。国内关于英语阅读的理论研究相对起步较晚, 胡春洞教授在前人研究的基础上，总结了许多的经验和方法，并提出了自己的独特的见解。但不管怎么说，这些理论还都只是系统的理论和经验，对解决目前农村初中英语阅读课中存在的问题效果并不十分明显，而且有些经验、方法并不符合农村基础教育课程改革的新需求，对农村初中英语阅读教学还没有一个系统性的、有效的研究。 其中如何培养学生英语阅读能力是提高英语教学质量的重要课题。尤其是农村英语阅读教学，面临着越来越严峻的挑战。就此我们进行了一些初步的探究，找出问题所在和分析其原因，研究改进农村英语阅读教学的方法，从而找到解决目前农村初中英语阅读课有效教学方法。 下面我就以牛津英语8B Unit 5 中的阅读课文 An interview with an ORBIS doctor的教学对农村初中英语阅读整体教学法做一些回顾，谈一些体会。 (一)精心设计 灵活导入 众所周知，“Well began is half done”，做好新课的导入，是上好整堂课的基础。如果开关能处理得当，运用巧妙，就能从一开始引起学生的学习兴趣，激发他们的学习积极性。为了能在上课开始的几分钟内激发起学生强烈的好奇心和迫切的求知欲，我巧妙地运用了“读前问题”(Pre-reading Questions),目的是启发学生利用已有的知识和经验，对课文的内容进行猜测，并就有关话题进行分组讨论，从而使得学生的进取精神、创新思维、发散思维和竞争意识得到较好的强化，使每个学生的主体地位和主体人格受到尊重。 3 就本课而言，在课前我就让学生在课前运用互联网 查找关于ORBIS的相关信息，在新课导入时我首先呈现 了下面的一幅关于ORBIS标志的图片，并设计了一个广 度很大的问题: Look at this picture, could you tell us something about this international charity? 由于在课前我就布置学生对本文进行必要的预习，而且这个问题的回答可以从多方面入手，大多数学生能积极的举手发言。我通过提问，发现他们的答案竟有惊人的相似。如大部分学生都给出了这样的答案: 1. It is an international charity. 2. It is a flying eye hospital and a teaching center. 3. It helps patients with eye problems in poor countries. 由此可见，这个问题的提出，可以使学生的思维从一开始就处于积极的状态之中，并能渐入本课的主题，这样的导入时间短，效果却很明显。 (二)快速阅读 深层理解 初中阶段的英语教学不再是简单、肤浅或单一的知识传授，而是应该通过指导学生利用积累的知识对阅读材料进行整体的分析、探讨和归纳。由于每节课只有短短的四十五分钟，这势必要求学生利用最快的速度读完，但又要能初步掌握全文的大致意思。如我在处理这一段阅读材料时，就要求学生利用五分钟时间快速浏览完这篇材料，在他们对材料的大意比较熟悉的前提下，我又设计了以下几个问题，要求各小组围绕这些问题进行深层次的思考和讨论。 1. Why do we say ORBIS is a teaching center? 各小组成员利用已有的知识，结合课文内容，对上述问题进行了探究性的学习讨论，这样可以大大促进学生创造思维能力和开发和合作精神的培养;同时这些问题的设计也能让学生更好地进一步的掌握本文的主要内容。 (三)把握重点 巧设习题 在新课改和“五严”的背景下，很多教者错误和片面的理解了新课程的精髓，许多老师认为给学生减负就是让学生少背诵，少练习。其实要有坚实的英语基础，就必须掌握一定的重点词汇和重点句型。那么如何才能更好地解决文中出现的重点词汇和重点句型呢,以前的教学大纲中曾明确提出:在实施整体教学过程中，进行适当的分段教学也是有必要的。其目的在于让学生能更好地掌握整篇文章。在实施分段教学时，应该把重点放在重点词汇和句型上。当然要摒弃传统教学模式中那个大讲特讲，“满言堂”的教学形式。要尽量做到详 4 略得当，要注意分散教学难点。教者也可以根据这些知识点自编一些习题，用 于巩固这些难点。这不但可以使学生容易听懂，而且还能灵活运用，从而真正 做到掌握和和运用。本文的重点、难点如下: 1. We are proud of Liu Xiang. We are proud that we are Chinese. 学生通过预习很容易就知道第一句的意思及用法。但问题是第二句和第三 句，尽管举出的例句结构很简单，但这并不是课文中所出现的，于是我就让学 生通过小组讨论，让他们运用集体的智慧去猜测一下句子的意思并能推断出be proud to do sth/ be proud of sb./ be proud that„这三种用法。 学生们很快就想到了be proud后接动词不定式，还可以加of名词或代词 或动名词短语，还可以加that引导的从句。由些可见，只要教者所设计的题目 难度适中，又能接近大多数学生的认知水平，加上教师的积极引导、点拨，这 样学生便能轻松地掌握知识点，而且也能灵活地运用。 对于习题的设计，一定要本着力求简单又能包容文本中体现的知识点，这 样便于所有学生掌握和巩固。如题目太难会让学生感到没有成就感，从而在一 定的程度上挫伤他们的积极性。 (四)强化德育 全面发展 5 在新课程背景下，对德育教育的德呼声越来越强烈。若德育与教育相脱离，就收不到应有的效果。因此教者要充分挖掘文章中所蕴涵的精神思想，使德育教育与知识传授同步进行。为使学生的精神思想能得到进一步升华，在结束这课的教学任务前我对学生提出了这样的一个问题: What do you think about ORBIS?
