My Ideal Teacher
My ideal teacher must meet the following requirements. First and foremost, that teacher must be cool, whether male or female matters not a bit. He doesn’t need to be very handsome because a stunningly attractive
male standing in the front of the classroom may keep me from concentrating on what he talks about. In other words, his appearance, if too handsome, would make him a distraction rather than an attraction. Secondly, he is capable of witty remarks which not only elicit heartfelt smile, laughter, applause or even screams from his students but also send them thinking deep. Last but not the least, he is knowledgeable. He serves as a beacon which guides his students in darkness on the voyage of the pursuit of truth. His lectures are a reflection of his extensive reading, his profound research and his independent thinking. Unfortunately, my ideal teacher has not yet come in the flesh to all the schools I attended. (153ws)
