It can’t be true. 表示请求或许可,相当于may,意为可以。 例如:Can I use your bike? You can’t talk here. 归纳:情态动词can本身具有一定的含义,不能单独作谓语,没有人称或数的变化,后面须接动词原形一起构成谓语。含有情态动词can的陈述句,其否定句式是在can 后面加not。一般疑问句是把can 提到句首。其肯定回答是Yes,主语+can; 否定回答是No,主语+can’t. 例如:They can swim. 否定句:They can’t swim. (2)作地点副词,与动词短语连用时,其前的节次必须省略,与here, there用法相同。[举例]I don’t go home on time. [注意]at home “在家”,是固定搭配。 [应用]根据汉语提示填空。 (1)Is Lily (在家)now? (2)My grandpa wants to join the (老人之家). (3)He always (回家)at 5:40 p.m. 6、be good with 意为“善于照看某人,善待某人,与某人相处得好“。 I’m good with children. 我善于照看孩子。 [拓展]good可构成的词组 be good at 擅长做某事,在·····方面做得好 be good for 对·····有益 [举例]Tom is good at English and Chinese.汤姆擅长英语和语文。 Eating vegetables is good for our health. 蔬菜有益于我们的健康。 [应用]My father is good swimming. A. to B. for C. at D. with 7、…we need you to help with sports for English-speaking students.我们需要你在体育运动上帮助说英语的学生们。 1、need 可做实义动词,“需要”,有人称、数的变化,可用在肯定句、否定句、疑问句中。 [举例]I need a desk.. 我需要一张书桌。 He really needs to have a good rest. 他的确需要好好休息一下。 [应用]He needs to stay in Beijing for 2 days. (改为否定句) ______________________________________________ 2、English-speaking 是由English 和speaking两词合并构成的一个形容词,表示“说英语的”。类似的还有English-speaking countries 说英语的国家 Chinese-speaking students 说中文的学生 8、Can you play piano or the violin? 你会弹钢琴或者拉小提琴吗? 此句是一个选择疑问句,其结构为:一般疑问句+or+选择的另一部分?or是选择疑问句的标志词。 [举例]Do you like playing soccer or the piano?你喜欢踢足球还是弹钢琴?
