Unit 1 Where are the books about computers, please?

1.能熟练应用句型:Where are the …… (about) ……, please?

2.能听音理解并跟读课文。
3.学会用英语在图书馆借书和超市购物时正确询问及回答。

教学过程
一、Warm up
1.Greetings.
2.Sing the song: Where did you go ?
(活跃课堂气氛,提高学生学习兴趣)
二、Revision
1.利用单词卡做游戏“What’s missing?”
(复习本节课要用到的单词library\find\card\CD-ROM\bring\use\easy等)
2.游戏拓展。接上面游戏进行,换一种方式比赛,教师说出一个单词,学生抢答与这个单词相关的短语或句子,如:Library---in\at the library\go to the library\There are many books in the library. Find---find out\I can find my book. Bring---bring back 等等。(教师适时提示引导,多鼓励性评价、奖励。)
(通过游戏复习,为学习新课做好准备。)
二、New lesson.
1.句型教学。教师指多媒体电脑问:Look, What’s this?
Ss: It’s a computer.
T: Yes, it’s a computer. It’s my computer. But I’m not good at it. I want to find a book about computers. Where are the books about computers, please?(重复、领读、指读此句多遍,引起学生注意,并板书。)
Ss: Library.
T: Ok! Now let’s go to the library.(课件出示图书馆借书情景)
然后请几名同学介绍一下借书程序,尽量要求用简单英语叙述,若有困难教师引导补充,如:library card(图书卡) \Where are the books about computers, please?(请问,关于电脑的书在哪?)They are on Shelf C.(它们在C架上)Bring back the book.(还书)最后从中引出还书时间in two weeks’ time (两星期之内),并类似举例子。(板书)
T: Now, we can use the computer.(教师操作电脑,展示精美贺卡)
T:I made an e-card for you. It’s easy with a computer. Do you like it?
Ss: Yes.
(通过课件演示,直观形象的再现了图书馆借书场景,以及解疑了难点e-card,学生兴趣浓,避免抽象、被动的认知)
2、课文教学。导入:Now , Amy and Lingling also go to the library. They want to find a book about e-cards there. Let’s have a look.
1)Listen to the tape,then answer the following questions on the screen.
Who bought the new computer ? (Library)
What does Amy want to do for mum ? (E-card)
What’s in that book? (CD-ROM)
When are they going to bring back the book? (In two weeks’ time)
Is it easy with a computer? (Yes)
2)小组合作学习,解决问题。
3)再听录音并跟读,指名回答问题,集体纠正。
4)再听音跟读课文重点段落,或教师领读,加深印象。
(有前面句型教学环节做铺垫,及本次问题回答,学生感知和理解课文对话内容会很容易。)
四、巩固练习。
1.Act out the dialogue. (出示挂图,大体内容描述出即可)
Example:
S1:Good morning . Can I help you ?
S2:Yes, please. Where are the books about computers,p
S1:They are on Shelf C.
S2:Thank you.
S1:Can I have your library card,please?
S2:Yes,here you are.
S1:Please bring back the book in two weeks’ time .
S2:Yes,we will.
2.Shopping game.创设情景:课件(或简笔画)出示几类物品,如水果类、衣服类、文具类、玩具类、书籍类,组成一个小型超市,每类物品上方注明Shelf A\B\C\D……等标签。围绕“超市”货架上的物品练习购物对话,如:顾客问:“Where are the pens,please?”售货员回答:“They are on Shelf C.”(请学生上台

3.Guessing game.接上一游戏进行,一生面对全班同学站着,另一生对货架上物品提问:“Where are the sweaters,please?”前一生猜测:“They are on Shelf B.”其他同学用“Yes”or“No”集体评价。
(让学生自主地利用真实或创设情景,进行创造性的语言交际和实践活动,有效地促进了学生运用语言、表达语言的能力。)
五、Summary.回顾本节课教学内容。
六、Homework.
1.听音跟读对话2遍。
2.口语交际:运用本课学到知识到学校图书馆借书。
