Discussing and communicative methods to make the students what they have learnt in class. 2. Teamwork methods to get every student take part in the teaching-and-learning activities. 3. [意图说明] 此环节为预习自学检测。因为这篇文章偏长,找出人物关系,让学生对文章的脉络有个粗略的认识。此外,通过让学生尝试猜测分析跟文章标题相关的问题,设置悬念,增加学生学习本文的欲望。 Step Ⅳ Scanning Task 1: Claire’s feelings towards Tony changed as the story developed(What a mixed feeling!). Try to fill in the table and find out some words, phrases and sentences in the text and underline them. While the students are making the dialogue, the teacher come to the students and give some helpful advice and assistance. When most of the groups finish their task, the teacher encourages the students to make a role-play. In the meantime, the teacher should emphasize that the students pay attention to their intonation.) [意图说明]此活动选择一个与文章内容紧密相关的开放性话题,即通过提升所学知识进行知识拓展。学生能够集思广益,畅所欲言。同时鼓励学生思考跟人类未来生活息息相关的问题,将德育渗透到日常教学中。 Step Ⅷ Summary &Homework (The teacher gives a brief summary about what students have learned in this class. Then assign some necessary homework.) [意图说明] 本环节为课堂小结。一方面加强学生对本节课知识的掌握,对本节课有一个宏观的整体把握;另一方面,告诉学生下节课的主要学习任务,让学生及时做好准备,有利于下节课的顺利进行。此外,本reading偏长,学生在一些句子上可能也会出现困难,因此让学生回去做字词的练习扫除语言障碍。加之,由于学生对科技知识兴趣浓厚,求知欲强,课堂时间有限,因此让学生课外在查一些关于机器人以及科幻小说,以增加这方面知识的了解。
