The Feeling After Performing The Feeling After Performing《Twelfth Night》 《Twelfth Night》 written by Shakespeare is a very interesting novel.It was made into films many times.And our team performed it last week. 《Twelfth Night》’s lines with a lot of Old English.Shakespeare had used flowers of speech.These statements just like peoms.My lines are very difficult for me to understand the meaning of the lines.So I spent a long time to recite my lines. However,it was not smooth when I performed.Because I didn’t have any experience before,I couldn’t perform without laughter.I couldn’t help laughing when I looked at my partner.In the end,I done is not good.I think I should strengthen my lines capability.I must control myself and cooperate with partner well. It seems that Shakespearean plays always talk about love.《Twelfth Night》is not like 《Romeo And Juliet》.It is not sorrowful.It shows the beauty of love and another life. In my opinion,I’ve been impressed by DUKE ORSINO denied love a woman.In the script,he says:“There is no woman’s sides can bide the beating of so strong a passion.No woman’s heart so big,to hold so much;they lack retention.Alas,their love may be call’d appetite......make no compare between that love a woman can bear me.”I think he is a male chauvinism.Though he is the hero of《Twelfth Night》,I don’t like him.What’s more,I can’t understand how did the heroine like him.It’s amazing!And I admire the heroine.Because she is brave and tactful.I want to be her. We shoot 《Twelfth Night》by the lake.I need to shout loudly,so that I could express DUKE ORSINO’s anger.It was too embarrassing!Everybody around me looked at me.It made me uneasy.Finally,I overcame the difficulty. However,there is a problem I can’t solve.I often forget my lines when I’m nervous.As a result,our production was not perfect.Next time I will overcome this difficult! My pronunciation is also not good.and has serious accent.Maybe I should watch more American drama to correct it. In addition to this,I lacked of body movements when I was performing.It made me stiff.And I couldn’t express my emotion accurately.I will avoid this problem next time. Choosing the fragment was a difficult process.This time select the fragment was a mistake.Because we were not familiar with Shakespeare’s plays,we just saw the movie.This part that we chose just has three roles and each role has a lot of lines.It’s not easy to recite these lines.Next time,we will choose a fragment that all of our team have performance opportunities.What’s more,we all had many other things to do.We had different curriculum schedule,so it was hard for us to get together and talked it over.As a result,we had no rehearsal. Although our team has many deficiencies,we like our production.There are five people in our group.Each of us had put a lot of effort into it.Especially our group leader.He had no lines,but he should edit and synthesize our production.It is very hard.He spent a large amount of time on it.In order to shook clearly,he even borrowed a camera.We are all very grateful to him. We spent many time to find a suitable place to shoot.My partner had more lines than me.She played VIOLA,the heroine of the play.She was struggling and recited her lines fluently.She seldom laughed and forgot lines when we were shooting.I admired her very much.I must learn from her! After shooting the play,all of us breathed a sigh of relief.However,we found the gap with other groups in class.They paid more effort and time.Their performance was natural and their shots cut fluently.They even bought a pair of yellow socks for the play.I was shocked by their graveness.They are our role model! When I received this task,my heart was broken(I believe there must be someone like me).After all,I had quantities of other things to do.However, sometimes it is like this,some things you may not like at first,you will find that it adds a lot of color for your life.Now recall these time,I feel interesting. A perfect performance of the drama can’t be separated from the efforts of the whole team and tacit cooperation.Thanks to the teacher to provide us with a platform to show our own.And let us have the opportunity to acquire knowledge and friendship.
