Application:
XBD(III) single-stage fire fighting pump
XBD(111) type pump is the new middle and low fire fighting product, which researched by our company according to the latest sta-
ndard(GB6425-1998) of fire fighting pump in our country, its motor and pump is connected directly, which simplified the middle trans-
mitting structure, and strengthen operation's stability. Its building area is less 30% than common horizontal pump, the shaft seal adopts
hard alloy mechanical seal without leakage, its inlet and outlet can be installed at any position and any direction like valve, its noise
is low, maintenance is convenient, shake is little and so on.
It can be applied to supply water of fire fighting in all kinds of occasions, such as: house, hotel, office building, business building, fact-
ory, hospital and so on.
The cubage of block insoluble substances in sucking and discharging media is no more than 1% of its cubage, granularity<0.2mm.
3Flow scope: 2-1400m /h;
The highest working pressure of pump system<1.6Mpa, which also means inlet pressure+pump head<1.6Mpa;
Head scope: 5~130m;
Circumstance temperature: 40 .

Instruction
Impeller: It adopts excellent hydraulic model design, which is high efficiency, less energy consumption;
Pump body: Suction room and discharge room adopt excellent hydraulic model design, which is beautiful and high efficiency, Pump has set
baseplate, so it is convenient for installing, and operation is stable;
Mechanical seal: It adopts hard alloy, tungsten carbide, graphite and so on. Its life is long, there isn't leakage and abrasion to shaft, and it can
guarantee clean ambient;
End head: Its design is excellent, which outline is beautiful and reduced the center-of-gravity and bracket, strengthened operation's stability
and life;
Water fender: Avoid motor being entered water for seal leaking
Shaft: Pump shaft and motor shaft are coaxial, which assured shaft is concentric for motor's lengthened shaft, to assure pump operate stably.
Besides, the pump adopts chromate treatment, which prolong its life.
Y or Y2 motor: Transmit power by connecting with water pump directly.

XBD has connecting plate, isolator, isolating pad,
flexible joint and soon, which reduced the noise and
shake.
Hydraulic performance and anti-cavitation are not
as good as XBD(III);
The flow passage is not as smooth as DFG, the effici-
eny is lower and the working life is shorter than XBD(III);
The working stability is worse than XBD(III).
The credibility of seal and life is same basically.
The pump are also universal, compact and credible,
but the performance is worse than XBD(III).
It is as same as XBD(III)

When install pump, the weight of pipeline shouldn't be supported by pump, or else pump is easy to be damaged;
Pump and motor is a whole structure, we needn't adjust it, so it is convenient for installation;
The foot bolt should be screwed down when install it, and you should check unit periodically to avoid loose, so as not to affect water pump's
performance;
In order to avoid the over-flow parts are damaged during water pump keep running, you should check whether there is hard things(such as
block, iron sand and so on) before installing water pump;
In order to make it is convenient for maintenance and safe for use, you should install a regulating valve on the inlet pipeline of pump
respectively, and a pressure gauge on the outlet of pump, you should install a check valve before gate valve of outlet to avoid water
hammer, so that it can assure water pump keeps running in the best work condition, and prolongs the using life of water pump;
In order to avoid it affects the suction performance of water pump, pump should install bottom valve when there is suction, and inlet pipeline
shouldn't has too many elbows, at the same time it shouldn't leak water and gas;
In order to prevent impurity enter into the pump and block flow passage to affect the pump performance, you should install a filter which
area is about 3-4 times of suction pipe's section before the inlet of pump.
After installation, it should be no attrition when move the pump's rotor with hand, or else it should be dismantled to check;
The standard of pump's inlet and outlet flange is according to Standard GB2555,1.6Mpa, so the pipeline's flange should select the same
specification.

Moving the motor vane by hand, the impeller shouldn't rub, the rotation is nimble.
Open inlet valve and discharge valve to fill whole pump with liquid, then close discharge valve after it is full.
Start pump by hand, to make lubrication enter into mechanical seal surface.
Start motor , check revolving direction is right or not.
Full-open inlet valve;
Close the valve of discharge pipeline;
Start motor, observe if the operation of pump is normal or not;
Adjust the aperture of discharge valve to required work condition;
Checking the leakage condition of shaft's seal. When it is normal, the leakage quantity of mechanical seal is<3
drop/minute;
Check the motor and bearing, its temperature should be 70 .
Close the valve of discharge pipeline;
Stop motor;
Close the valve of inlet;
If unit keeps stop condition for long time, we should disassemble pump and coat rust-proof grease on it.
Inlet pipeline should seal highly;
Inlet pipeline should full with liquid, prohibit pump to operate in cavitate condition;
Check the current value of motor periodically, it shouldn't higher than rated current of motor;
Prohibit motor to operate in over current condition while pump operates in large flow condition;
If pump operates for long time, you should replace damageable parts and check unit periodically, the check time is one year in a general
way.
The lubrication of mechanism seal should clean without solid particle.
Prohibiting mechanism seal working in the dry grinding condition.
Start pump (motor)for several circle before starting, to avoid graphite ring to be damaged.

a. The valve of inlet and outlet isn't open, inlet pipeline and flow passage

e. There isn't enough water in inlet, the suction head is too high and the

discharge water;
b.Pipeline, flow passage of pump or impeller is blocked sediment of
scale, valve aperture isn't enough;

d.Impeller is wore out.
a. It is used over rated flow capacity;

a.Remove it according to the reason that water pump can't
discharge water;

d.Replace impeller.
a.Adjust flow capacity, turn outlet valve down;
