2. Hardship is a necessary part of a young person’s character cultivation. Hardship is not a necessary part of a young person’s character cultivation. Hardship Experience Is Necessary for Young Students to Mature As is known to us all, a person's growth calls for many factors, such as the surroundings he lives in, the friends he has and the education he receives .But above all, hardship experience is essential and of great importance. Hardship experience means hard life ,hard time ,setback and so on .It can help a student to grow .It can develop his good quality and help him learn how to face trouble or a setback .A student who lives a hard life is more independent ,for he has nobody to rely on .In order to live, he has to do everything himself .In the beginning ,he may not get used to it ,but as times goes on ,he can manage .A setback is also of great value for a student. It can make him stronger .He can draw a lesson from it and become mature. On the contrary, if a student is always living in a rich family, without anything to worry about or hardship, he won't grow mature .He has parents do everything for him .He never uses his head or hands .He never cares for others .He can just eat and play .A person like that is always considered to be a kid though he is a grown-up in age. Friendship or hardship is really a good experience for our growth .To suffer from hardship, to be mature! Let's make good friends with hardship! The Effects of Hardship No one likes difficulties, but life is not a smooth journey. Everyone faces obstacles and challenges in life, and some people even endure extreme adversity such as poverty, disability and abuse. Not all the people could put up with all these. It is really hard to definite whether living through hardship can make a person stronger or weaker. I think people can grow up from frustration and make them mature. First, in one’s life there must be something which makes you hopeless, you cannot escape it. Only you experience some difficulties you can feel something different and begin to make a change, or all your life you are always the same, no development and not to mention any effort. Though you may be afraid and even be disappointed when facing those problems, but it is really a very important lesson in your life. Meanwhile, you have the chance to make yourself become much stronger. Second, you can learn a lot from hardship then you may find a way to success. If you are poor, that’s ok and you can make efforts to become rich, aren’t you? Even if how difficult the process is, when you can do it nothing matters. Failure is not terrible and it can be the power or motivation to success. If you are disabled, please learn to be optimistic. Some people who have healthy bodies, but they choose to waste them and even give up their lives. I believe you will treat your life more precious than anybody. That is also a kind of success. Third, hardship can practice and improve yourself. People will grow up from their experiences and become mature and serious when dealing with something hard or important. Also you will not be nervous when having problems and maybe you can help others by your way. That’s great, right? In a word, living through hardship can make you stronger. Don’t be afraid. Don’t escape and face with it. Only through this mean, when you have the same problem you can get over it. As the saying goes, experience must be bought. Just take it easy.
