A: As I know, Bill Gates born October 28, 1955. He is an American businessman, the world’s third richest man, and chairman of
Microsoft.
B: Yeah, Gates is a great man. Bill Gates began his career in PC software at the age of 13. In 1973, he went to Harvard University, and there he developed the programming language BASIC. In 1975, he left Harvard and opened his own company Microsoft with his friend.
C: They thought that the computer would be a very important tool in every office and in every home, so they began developing software for personal computers. They improved the software to make it easier for people to use computers.
A: In addition, he is a generous philanthropist . Microsoft listed in the 12 years, Gates has donated more than 800 million U.S. dollars to charitable organizations, including the Gates Library Foundation donated 200 million U.S. dollars to help the major libraries in North America brought about by the information age better use of new
technologies.
B: As far as I know, Gates donated four focus areas are : education, public health and population issues in the world, a non-profit public arts agencies .
C: From the his story ,I think there are at least two aspects that we should learn from Bill Gates. One is his positive attitude to science. He loved science heart and soul and worked hard at it with great passion. The other is his love and care to people and his great social responsibility.
A: You’re right. As bill said “life is unfair, to adapt to it” So in daily
life, whether we meet what difficulty, we all should be brave to overcome it, that we can be the strong of life.
