If the output shaft is not subject to radial load, or if radial load is below 60% maximum allowable, only one alignment ring needs to be fitted to the counter-flange. For higher loads, the counter-flange must hold both rings firmly. Do not tap them with hammers or similar tools. To insert these parts, use the service screws and threaded holes provided on the shafts.
