RELEASE FORM I understand and agree to the following: 1 To allow DFI Designs to use the best of the flowers that I, or my designee, selects for my order. (Not all flowers may fit in, or be suitable for use in, the candles.) That some flowers may dry darker than they appear in their fresh state – this is especially true with dark roses. 2 Special instructions must be outlined in the “Special Instructions” section of the order form. 3 There will be small holes/air pockets in the wax walls and a small portion of some flowers may be exposed. This is normal - not a defect. It is due to the handcrafted nature of the product and the irregular flower petal surfaces, but does not detract from the beauty of the candle. 4 That some greenery will be added to all candles in the production process. 5 All candle sizes are nominal. Each candle is an individual, hand-made, work-of-art, and the heights will vary slightly on each candle as part of the finishing process. 6 Due to the custom nature of this product all sales are final. No returns except for freight damage. 7 Pictures must be printed on cardstock, as the wax will not adhere to glossy or matte finishes. When the liquid wax is poured over the picture in the candle mold, it may cause the picture move or tilt slightly. This potential movement is minimal, yet uncontrollable. (This will determine the number of flowers required). The following is a MINIMUM guideline: Petite, mini and small sizes 4-5 med/large flower heads per candle Medium sizes 6-9 large flower heads per candle Tall sizes 10-13 large flower heads per candle NOTE: Including extra flower heads gives us flexibility in designing your candles. In addition to the flower heads, include several stems of greenery per candle. Flower heads may include all varieties and sizes of roses, gerbera daisies, stargazer lilies, irises, tulips carnations, etc. Assorted colors are most popular. In most cases, flowers (if kept in a cool place and watered) will be suitable for drying if received in 5-7 days. (Spider mums do not dry and large sunflowers are too big to use.) a. Clip flower heads from stems – include greenery. b. Place in UNSEALED plastic bags along with a dry paper towel. Sealed bags will promote mold c. Label flowers (plastic bag) with name of the purchaser d. If the flowers are mailed, ship USPS Priority Mail in an appropriately-sized box (USPS Supplies them free) to your Funeral Counselor, or to the address on the front of this order form.
