2014年10月24号，第一届海口国际爵士音乐节成功举办，本次爵士音乐节不仅得到海南省旅游发展委员会、海口市文化广电出版体育局等部门的重视和配合,同时也享受到海口市人民政府大力支持。本次音乐节是中瑞友谊日的活动之一,海口市政府亦希望借此机会,深化、加强与瑞士的交流合作,互助互利。此外,本次中瑞友谊日也吸引了瑞士媒体跟踪报道,将有助于提高海口市的国际知名度。

当晚现场火爆，王若琳为大家带来了八首著名曲目，分别是:偿还，亲密爱人，当年情，今宵多珍重，you and me，coins，moon river ，the bare necessities。 第二场演唱会Pascal Schumacher高超的弹奏技巧精彩呈现，他们来自卢森堡的爵士音乐家、作曲家以及打击乐器演奏家。表演气场十足，绚丽缤纷。
25号晚间的音乐会将会于7点半举行，音乐人的完整阵容:
No Square:由萨克斯风手MatthieuDurmarque, 钢琴手MatthieuRoffé，贝斯手André Hahne和鼓手AlexandreAmbroziak组合而成。在他们的第八张专辑中，No Square传递了一种独一无二又具有爆炸力的现场爵士乐。
Wilson Chen: 他才华横溢，与其他3位音乐家Luxuanchen，Tinho Perrera.等共同为大家带来一场视觉和听觉的精彩盛宴。
面对着一望无际的海域,吹着来自远方的清凉海风,爵士乐绝对是最适合的背景音乐。摇摆的节奏、即兴的旋律,那一颗在日常生活中被条条框框囚禁的心,是否也蠢蠢欲动,希望来一趟自由的路程,

thOn October 24, 2014, the First Haikou International Jazz Festival was successfully held in the Sheraton Haikou Resort. HIJF is not only getting support from the Hainan Provincial Tourism Development Commission and the Depatmnet of Culture & Sport of Haikou City, but also the local government who provided security, and logistical and financial support. The HIJF was launched at a Gala Diner that concluded the Chinese-Swiss Friendship Day which was attended by the Haikou vice-major, and the General Swiss Consul in Guangzhou,
The concert was a great success, delighting the audience with some of Joana Wang’s best repertoire, such as You and Me, Coins, Moon River and The Bear Necessities. The second concert was by Pascal Schumacher ‘s
band, a quartet from Luxembourg。 Pascal is a composer and percussionist
with a unique talent and sensitivity, he manages to inject panache and flamboyance into every performance. He is keen to explore the links that exist between many musical genres.
thThe concert on October 25 will be held at 7 pm. For this occasion, Blue Carpet will present::
No Square:Formed by saxophonist Matthieu Durmarque, pianist Matthieu Roffé, bassist André Hahne and drummer Alexandre Ambroziak. In their eighth album, No Square delivers a unique and explosive live jazz. Wilson Chen: He is a very talented saxophone player, together with Huang Jian Yi (piano & key) Steve Desvaux Desiré (Bass) Jallil Auckbarauliee (drums), they are going to bring Haikou jazz lovers a fantastic show.
Facing the endless ocean and the breeze, jazz is definitely the most appropriate background music. Along with the lively rhythm, impromptu melody, the convention-trapped heart itch to try and start a free adventure?
