Secondly, it is important to do regular exercises, such as swimming, jogging and so on. Last but not least, it is essential to keep in good spirits. When we make healthy habits a part of our everyday life, we are bound to keep healthy. 3.My hometown —Ningbo (我的家乡) I live in the city of NingBo. It is a clean and nice city. And I like it very much. NingBo lies in the east of China. As a coast city, it is famous for its sea food and beautiful view of the sea. In these years, the city develops very fast, especially its foreign trades. What’s more, there are a lot of culture resorts in and around the city. If you live in Ningbo, you will also find that the people are also very kind and friendly. I love the city and I believe it will become better and better. 4(Planting Trees(植树) It was fine on March 12 ， 2007 . I got up early that day . All the students in our school went to the hill to plant trees . We arrived at the hill at eight o'clock . The teacher asked each of us to plant at least six trees . Then we started digging ， planting and watering . We all worked so hard that we could finish our tasks ahead of time . Among us ， Wang Lin ， our monitor set a good example for us . Though he was ill ,he worked harder . When he finished his task ,he went on to help others without even a little rest . He was wet all over after work .“ I must learn from him .” I said to myself . I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation. But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. What is more, vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities. To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot. Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. Therefore, governments are playing the most important role in the environmental protection today. In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice, because more people means more people means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished.
