“杀人游戏”已经流行多年,我接触得比较晚,着实恨晚!基于平时对语言教学素材与方式的积累习惯,我在爱上这一游戏的同时,开始思考如何将其应用于外语教学的课堂。8月份接了美国德克萨斯州的LPI(Learning Program International)中文暑期夏令营项目,负责初级班的中文教学。孩子们都是11年级的学生,汉语水平不一,有中级、有零起点。我在第一堂口语课上使用了这一游戏,大受孩子们欢迎。之后不断插入新学语言点,孩子们每次都玩得乐此不疲,教学效果显著。好几个孩子已经可以当“法官”,主持游戏。
该游戏在初级口语班都可以成功运用,在中级、高级班应该有更大的使用空间,可以融合更多的语言点。同时,在英语教学的课堂上,也会是个不错的语言活动或者游戏。

教学对象:Learning Promgram Iternational (LPI) 初级班
教学目标:复习掌握已学句型,提高学生思维能力的训练,让孩子在“玩”中学。
教学内容:杀人游戏
活动选择背景:
1、学生经过上午的学习,已处于疲惫状态,需要适度放松。
2、学生一起学的知识点有限,有职业名词、数字、日常活动(如刷牙、起床、睡觉)等等。该活动正好可以将所学知识点串起来。
教学工具:游戏道具
时间:1:30p.m.-3:00 p.m.
教学步骤:
一、介绍规则。
二、词汇、句型操练。
语言点:数字与数字手势。
职业名词:警察、医生、杀手、平民
发言:我觉得 ×××(中文名)是杀手。( because……)
我不是杀手。我觉得×××是杀手。(because)我是警察。我是医生。
游戏安排:法官:黄老师
杀手2人、警察2人、医生1人、平民5人
三、备注:教师多使用伴手势中文,照顾水平较好的柯山木同学,然后加上英文翻译,让其他学生明白。适当时候可以让柯山木来做法官。

The killing game
The jobs for every role:
法官:is the organizer of the whole game. Send out all the orders to all the actions. Find out which team wins in the last minute.
警察:find out the killers and protect your citizens.(If you think someone is citizen, you have to protect him or her. If all the citizens died, the justice lose.)
杀手:kill people and try your best to run away, then you will win the game.
医生:you cure one people once by turns, and help 警察(the police) to find the killers(杀手)。
平民:you help the police find the killers, if you think someone is citizen, or police, or doctor, you got to help them too, because you are in one boat.
The police, citizen and doctor are in a team, the Justice.
The killers make the other team, the Guilty.
Judge should be impartial.
rules:if 警察都死了or 平民都死了, the killers still haven't been found, then the justice loses, and the guilty killers win.
If 杀手 are found,then, the justice win, and the guilty killers lose.
Judge's orders:天黑请睡觉,杀手请出来。杀手请杀人。医生请醒来,医生请救人。天亮了,大家请起床。×××,你死了。请留言。(Ms Huang will explain in English)
How does it work:
All the members listen to the judge. As the judge will say:
(now, it's evening. Please go to bed everyone.
Now, killers please wake up. Please discuss silently, and agreed on who would you like to kill, and tell me in gestures.
Ok, killers, please go back. Doctor, wake up,please. Please save one person, although you don't know who needs the cure. If you are lucky enough, I cure the right person. If not, it's ok.
Now, doctor, thank you and please go back. Police, please wake up. Tell the judge who may be the killer in gestures. ok, police, look at the judge, she will tell you your opinion is right or wrong. And remember that, which will help you looking for the killers later.
Morning comes, get up, everybody. ×××, you are killed. Before you die, please leave your hint about who may killed you, so that you can help your team find the killer. Now everybody prepare to argue for yourself, try your best to make others believe that you are not the killer, and you are innocent..
Now, we vote for who can be the killer. The person who gets the most suspicion, will be sentenced to death. Ok ,now, ××× you are dying, please say something to protect your team buddy, no matter for the justice or for the guilty.
Now, it's evening again.……
Key points:
never tell other people your occupation.
Keep your mind clear,and cooperate.
When you are not speaking, you'd better keep quiet and sitting still.
Students get familiar with all the number gestures, and judge's yes or no gesture.
If you are dead, you are out of the game. But you never say anything whatever you saw or hear.
