Step1 Warm up. (1)Learn the key words one by one. The students should be active about them. (2)A question will be given: Where is Taiwan? Most students will care about it. Another question: Who will go to Taiwan on holidays ? (3)The teacher will listen to different answers and encourage them. (设计说明:通过学习新单词进行大面积快速训练,活跃气氛,然后通过问题引出“计 划”这一主题。) ?Step2Read and complete Wei Ting’s plan for her holiday. (1)Close books. (Wei Ting will go to Beijing for holidays. ) Ask students to suggest activities that she will do in Beijing.And write the suggestions on the board. (2)Complete the passage with the words in the box. (3)Ask two students to check their answers on the blackboard. (4)Compare the suggestions and the answers on the board to see if they are similar activities. (5)Encourage them. (设计说明:训练学生对语言的组织能力,并使学生大胆发言。鼓励他们树立自信心。) ?Step3 Read and answer. (1)Ask students to attempt the questions on their own. (2)While they are doing the exercise,write the questions on the board. (3)Invite students to come to the board and write the answers. (4)Ask the classtoread the answers and make suggestions for corrections if they are wrong. (设计说明:学生能够进行小组讨论,培养他们的合作意识。) ?Step4 Listen and sing. (1)Tell the class how the words are all similar.They all end in-ng. (2)Demonstrate how the sound is produced. Ask the students to repeat after teacher. (3)Play the tape and ask them to repeat. (4)Write the sentences on the board: Listen to the king sing. The king is singing a long song. The king is singing the wrong song. (5)Ask them to read the sentences chorally and individually. (设计说明:通过语音练习训练以–ng结尾的单词的正确读音,提高他们的学习兴趣 和记忆能力。) ?Step5 Write. (1)Write Taiwan on the board. (2)Tell them that if they are free to travel to Taiwan, think of things they are going to do on Taiwan Island. (3)Elicit ideas and write them on the board. (4)Then get some of the students to read out their ideas. (5)Encourage the class to be more active in this step. (设计说明:通过对去台湾旅游这一话题的思考、讨论和回答,训练本单元的重要句型, 考查学生的语言组织能力,拓展他们的知识面。渗透爱国意识。) ?Step6 Listen and write. (1)Get the students to focus on the map. (2)Read out the name of the cities and get the students to point to them. (3)The teacher will play the dialogue and the class have to mark the cities with a number in the order they hear them. (4)Play the dialogue more than once. (5)Ask the class to call out the numbers for the cities. (6)In this step, the class should be quick. (设计说明:训练学生的听力、口语表达能力。) ?Step7 Activity. (1)Ask the class to get information about our country. One sentence for one city, for example,the Great Wall is in Beijing. (2)In this step, the more the students know, the more the answers will be. (设计说明:展示图片,进行拓展训练,考查学生的知识面,赞美祖国。) ?Step8 Homework. (1)Make another plan for holiday.
