First, give children more responsibility. Teach children that they are important contributors to the family, and give them age-appropriate chores(家务). Second, encourage kids to try to do things themselves first. If they try but don’t know how to complete a task, offer them help, but teach them how to do the task rather than doing it for them. Third, teach kids to solve their own disputes. Encourage children to work out issues themselves, and to approach parents only if someone is in danger or the problem is too difficult to deal with.
