What is eco-travel? Do you know? Ss: T: Ecology is a scientific study of the relation of plants and living creatures to each other and to their sourdings.its Chinese meaning is “生态学”. Eco-system means “生 态系统”. So we can see eco-travel is”生态旅游”.What’s the difference between normal travel and eco-travel? Ss: T: Turn to page 20 and find more information about eco-travel as quickly as possible T: What is eco-travel? What’s the difference between normal travel and eco-travel? S1: Eco-travel is a form of travel that combines normal tourism and learning S2: Normal travel is simply for pleasure and is often bad for environment while eco-travel is a way of traveling responsibly to protect the environment and of finding out what can be done to help animals and plants as well as people. T: yes, you are right. Now we have two eco-travel destinations. One is Red River Village and the other is Snow Mountain. (Show some pictures) which do you prefer? Ss: T: Both of them are good.
