Forrest Gump,an encouraging motion picture, gives me a feast for eyes and heart.
Unlike Troy, this film gives me a kind of tender feeling besides deep impression. Juest as he says “Stupid is as stupid does”, all things seem to be simple to Forrest.
Forrest Gump, a simple and honest person, is born with the muscle problem and a lower IQ than normal people. As is often the case, most people deem that success to this kind of person, intellectual disturbance person, is beyond attainment.
Much to their surprise, however, Forrest Gump has accomplished great achievements:he becoms an amzing football star, a war hero in the Vietnam War,an excellent paddler and later a millionaire.The incarnation ee moulds of virtue is to be honest and brave, keep one's word conscientiously, making the film become one kind and idealize ethical symbol.
The leading role in the film, Gump, is a very pure image. It is his simpleness and honesty that touch me countlessly. If making comparison between we normal people and Forrest at the begining, we may have a sense of superiority and achievement.However, we will be convinced of that the superiority doesn’t make sense.Unlike him,we don’t have the same capacity to make originally complex things and life become so simple. We know that a contented mind is a perpetual feast, but what we do doesn’t accord with what we think. Indeed, we are always caught in trap we set for ourselves. Thus, a peaceful mind will never come to most of us in that we desires much and have distracting thoughts, which compel what’s simple and enjoyable to turn into complexity. We always think too much and assume things more complicated than it is.
As the scripture puts it: Life is like a box of chocolates; You never know what you're gonna get. So, why we always think of too much complexity? Personaly speaking, we shall learn from Forrest by heart and simplify the rubs and worries of life we encounter. By that means, we can make a difference in our own life.
