I don’t like … Ask Ss to pay attention to the plural forms of these new words. (To a student who stands up) S: No, they don’t. They don’t like ice-cream. Ask Ss to practice the sentence patterns. (Show the sentence patterns on the screen) Step5: Pair work Ask the Ss to watch a survey and talk about it. —Does Bob like…? —Yes,he does.He likes…/No, he doesn’t. He doesn’t like… —Does Mary like…? —Yes, she does. She likes…/No, she doesn’t. She doesn’t like… —Do they like …? —Yes, they do. They like…/No, they don’t. Make a report. Ask Ss to make a food survey like this: Food likes doesn’t like tomatoes Chen Xi Hu Hai hamburgers strawberries pears salad Ice-cream Make a report: xxx likes …and …, but he/she doesn’t like …or… (2)Ask your parents about the food in this lesson.
