Words: horse, sheep, hen, cow, goat and lamb. Sentences: What are they? They’re… Grammar: To master the plural form of the new words. Topic: To talk about farm animals. Language skills: Listening, reading and using: the new words. Listening, reading and talking: the dialogue. Listening, reading and doing: Let’s do. Emotion and Attitude: Students are glad to talk about something in English. Encourage them to love animals and help their parents with the farm work. Teaching key points: Main points: To master the new words. Difficult points: To master the plural form of the new words. To say the sentences and do the actions happily and correctly. Teaching tactics: Let students learn English happily. Let them cooperate actively and complete the tasks positively and independently. Teaching materials: Multi-media Teaching procedures: Step1: Warm-up 1. Greetings. 2. Say: I like animals. Do you like animals? Let’s listen to a song about animals. Say：Let’s scan what we’re going to learn. Play the flash of Let’s learn. Look and listen to the new words and sentences. (设计意图：先让学生听一遍今天要学习的主要内容，在明确目标的前提下学习会让他们更有方向感，知道自己要学什么，要会什么。) 3. Show the pictures of the animals on the computer. Learn the single and plural forms of the words. Ask: What’s this? Then add another one and ask: What are they? They’re hens.
