I have a good idea. 学习并掌握生词:flower, tea, photo (2)能力目标:通过本单元的学习,学生能表述母亲节能为妈妈做什么。 (3)情感目标:激发学生对母亲的爱,让学生懂得如何去爱身边的人。 4.教学重点与难点 (1)教学重点:生词和句子。 (2)教学难点:表达母亲节可以为妈妈做的事。 6.教学用具 (1)多媒体课件 (2)图片和花等道具 (3)录音机 7.教学设计: 1 Pre-task preparations: Activity 1 Students enjoy a short movie and listen to the song together. Activity 2 Free-talk: What can you do for Mum? While-task procedures: Activity 1 A whole presentation of learning content: Activity 1 Introduce the new words. Use the real flower to learn the new words: 1.a flower 2. a red flower 3. a beautiful red flower 4. two flowers Learn the new words, in the meantime, the students can review the colour they have learnt in Unit 1. Then play a game called up and down to consolidate the new word. Activity 2 Ask students to listen to the tape for the illustrated conversation and read loudly together. After that, let students read in group and read in pairs in different roles. In this way, they can learn the new sentences well. Dialogue content: It’s Mother’s Day. What can I do for Mum? Ah! I have a good idea. A flower and a card. Mum, I love you. Happy Mother’s Day! Activity 3 Ask students to think about other ideas which they can surprise their mum on Mother’s Day and let them discus s in pairs. Then teacher give different phrases to express the things they can do on Mother’s Day. For example,sing a song, make cards, water plants and so on. Activity 4 Use the phrases to make a dialogue to practice the knowledge and know how to express in the daily life . A: Mother’s day is coming soon. What can you do for mum? B: Ah! I have a good idea? I can give mum ….. How about you? A: I can make a card for my mum. I love my mum! Post-task activities: Activity 1 Show Ss a moving movie to let them feel the love from their mother and father, which can make them love their family more. Besides, after this class, I hope the students can take real action to express their love for their parents. Activity 2 Try to make a card for their Mum and write some words on the card, which can be given to their mum on Mother’s Day to show their love.
