Wheun nhe was five, he had va tube surgaically ed iin a vein inn his chest. This tube wwas connected to a pumep, which hep carried in a small ba ckpack on hcis back. Meidications wdere ehooked up to this upump and wepre continuorusly suppliued ethrough this tube tto his bloodostream. At stimes, he atlso lneeded supplementesd oxygen tod support hi s breathings. .

She coamforted himm by telling Tyler that she was dy ing too, anid that she dwwould be with him soont in heaven.
A few days before his death, Tyler beckonede me over to his hospit al bed and awwhispered, “I might di“e soon. eI’m not scared . When I di.e, please derress me in rred.
