Failure doesn’t mean you have accomplished nothing,It does mean you have learned something. Failure doesn’t mean you have been a fool,It does mean you had a lot of faith. Failure doesn’t mean you’ve been disgraced,It does mean you were willing to try. Failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it,It does mean you have to do something in a different way. Failure doesn’t mean you are inferior,It does mean you are not perfect. Failure doesn’t mean you’ve wasted your life,It does mean you have a reason to start afresh. Failure doesn’t mean you should give up,It does mean you must try harder. Failure doesn’t mean you’ll never make it,It does mean it will take a little longer. Failure doesn’t mean God has abandoned you,It does mean God has a better idea. 2.Follow Your Own Course走自己的路 Don’t listen to those who say,“It’s not done that way.”Maybe it’s not, but maybe you will. Don’t listen to those who say,“You’re taking too big a chance.” Michelangelo would have painted the Sistine Floor,and it would surely be rubbed out by today. Most importantly, don’t listenWhen the little voice of fear inside of you rear its ugly head and says, “They’re all smarter than you out there.They’re more talented, They’re taller, blonder, prettier, luckier and have connections...” I firmly believe that if you follow a path that interests you, Not to the exclusion of love, sensitivity, and cooperation with others, But with the strength of convictionThat you can move others by your own efforts, And do not make success or failure the criteria by which you live, The chances are you’ll be a person worthy of your own respect. 3. Faith 信念 Faith is the “eternal elixir”Which gives life, power, and action to the impulse of thought! Faith is the starting point of all accumulation of riches!Faith is the basis of all “miracles”, And all mysteries which cannot be analyzed by the rules of science! Faith is the only known antidote for failure!Faith is the element, the “chemical” which, When mixed with prayer, gives one direct communication with Infinite Intelligence. Faith is the element which transforms the ordinary vibration of thought,created by the finite mind of man, into the spiritual equivalent. Faith is the only agency through which the cosmic force of Infinite Intelligence can be harnessed and used by man. 4. On Changes论变化 Change is the only absolute,in the world,the only thingthat you can depend on. Nothing stays the same.Tomorrow will come, bringing with it new beginnings and sometimesunexpected endings. You can hold on to the past and get left in the dust;or, you can choose to jump on the ride of life and live a new adventure with perseverance and an open mind. 5. Results and Roses硕果和玫瑰 The man who wants a garden fair,Or small or very big,With flowers growing here and there, Must bend his back and dig.The things are mighty few on earth,That wishes can attain, Whatever we want of any worth,We’ve got to work to gain.It matters not what goal you seek, Its secret here reposes:You’ve got to dig from week to week,To get results or roses. 6. The Value of Time时间的价值 To realize the value of one year:Ask a student who has failed a final exam. To realize the value of one month:Ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby. To realize the value of one week:Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper. To realize the value of one hour:Ask the lovers who are waiting to meet. To realize the value of one minute:Ask a person who has missed the train, bus or plane. To realize the value of one second:Ask a person who has survived an accident. To realaize the value of one millisecond:Ask the person who has won a silver medal in the Olympics. Time waits for no one.Treasure every moment you have. 7. Today is a New Day今天是新的一天 Your tomorrows are as bright as you want to make them. There is no reason to carry the darkness of the past with you into today. Today is a wonderful new experience，full of every possibility to makeyour life exactly what you want it to be. Today is the beginning of new happiness,new directions and new relationships. Today is the day to remind yourself that you posses the power and strength you need to bring contentment, love and joy into your life. Today is the day to understand yourself and to give yourself the love and the patience that you need. Today is the day to move forward towards your bright tomorrow. 8. Dreams梦想 Hold fast to dreams For if dreams die ,Life is a broken winged bird That cannot fly.Hold fast to dreams.For when dreams go Life is a barren field,Frozen with snow. 9. The Road Not Taken没有走过的路 Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood.And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth;Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim,Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there.Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay,In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day!Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference. 10. What is Success成功的内涵 What is success?To laugh often and love much; To win the respect of intelligent peopleAnd the affection of children; To earn the approbation of honest criticsAnd endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty;To find the best in others;To give one’s self;To leave the world a little better, Whether by a healthy child,A garden patch,Or a redeemed social condition; To have played and laughed with enthusiasm,And sung with exultation; To know even one life has breathed easier，Because you have lived...This is to have succeeded.
