一、教材分析
本板块的场景在农场,Liu Tao带着Mike去爷爷的农场,在参观农场的过程中,他们讨论着看到的水果和动物。本课时的内容比较有趣味性,但除了Nice to meet you. Welcome to…和What are these? 在前面单元提到过,其他单词句型基本为新授,内容量很大,需要在教学时间和教学内容中找到一个平衡点。
二、教学目标
1、能听懂、会说、会读以下单词:farm, apple, orange, pear, cow, pig, duck, they,
these, those.
2、能听懂、会说、会读以下句型:Welcome to…., What are these/those?
They’re…Are these/those…? Yes. /No. They’re….
3、能朗读并正确理解课文内容。
4、能运用本课时所学单词句型进行简单的情景操练。
三、教学重点
1、能听懂、会说、会读以下单词:farm, apple, orange, pear, cow, pig, duck, they, these, those.
2、能听懂、会说、会读以下句型:Welcome to…., What are these/those? They’re…Are these/those…? Yes. /No. They’re….
3、能朗读并正确理解课文内容。
四、教学难点
1、能初步掌握单词farm, they, those, these, pear, apple, orange, cow, pig, duck的读音;
2、能初步掌握句型What are these/those? Are these/those…?的语调和用法。
3、能初步了解a和an用法的区别以及名词的复数形式。

Step 1 Warm up
1、Greetings

(设计意图:通过本首歌调节课堂气氛,也让学生大概熟悉一下本课的重点字词these和those)
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1、教授apple, orange, pear, What are these/those? They’re…Are these/those…? Yes. /No. They’re….
T: What’s this? It’s….
Ss:…
T: Listen. (录音) apple. 领读、拼读、个人读。What’s this?
Ss: It’s an apple. (区别a和an的用法)
T: What are these?
Ss: They’re apples. (Tips:一般情况下,英语单数名词变复数,在后面直接加s即可, the y’re=they are)
T: What’s that?
Ss: It’s an orange.
T: What are those?
Ss: They’re oranges. (教授those)
T: Guess. Are these oranges?
Ss: No. (教授Are these…? No. They’re…)
T: What are these?
Ss: They’re pears. (教授pear)
T: Are those pears too?
S: Yes. (教授Are tho se…? Yes. They’re…)
(设计意图:以this和that导出these和those的用法,让学生感受复数的概念以及距离的远近区分,将单词融入句子中教学,从整体着手,展现给学生完整的语言概念。)
2、Pair work: What are these/those? They’re…(复数)
T: There are three pictures, choose one and ask and answer in pairs.
(设计意图:让学生对所学的单词句型及时加以巩固操练,为后面的语言运用奠定基础。)
3、教授farm, cow, pig, duck.
T: These apples, oranges and pears are from the farm. Today we will learn Unit7 On the farm.(教授farm,揭题)Well, listen to a song and tell: What else are there on the farm?
T: What animals are there on the farm?
Ss: 鸭子、奶牛、猪
T: Yeah, let’s learn them one by one. (教授cow, pig, duck)
(设计意图:前一环节的水果类单词引出农场这一主题,Old MacDonald had a farm这首歌意在整体出现cow, pig, duck三个动物类单词的教学,让学生在歌曲中认识它们,媒体效果更有趣味。)
4、Practice
T: Let’s read it.领读所学单词apples, oranges, pears, cows, pigs, ducks
猜一猜,问一问:Are these/those…? Yes. /No. They’re…. (T—S,S—S)
(设计意图:将本课时所学的六个单词整体出现加以巩固,猜猜问问减少句型操练的乏味,也能检测学生回答的准确性,Are these/those…?与之前的What are these/those? 分开操练,避免学生混淆,帮助学生区分。)
5、Story Time
(1)T: Look at the picture.(课文图一)Who are they?Where are they?

(2) Watch the cartoon and answer: Whose farm is it?
T: It’s Grandpa’s farm. This is the first time that Mike goes to the farm. So what Grandpa will say to Mike? (教授图一:Nice to meet you, Mike. Welcome to my farm.)
(3) Listen and cir cle: What’s on the farm?
(4) Let’s read it: Read after the teacher. Read it together. Read it in roles.
(5) T: Now fill in the blanks and try to retell the story. Let’s do it together.
Grandpa, this is Mike. Nice to meet you, Mike. Welcome to my farm. Nice to meet you. What are these? They’re pigs. What are those? They’re cows. Are these apples? Yes. They’re apples. Are those apples too? No. They’re pears.
(设计意图:通过看图片,了解基本信息who和where, 通过看动画,初步感受这个故事内容,通过听一听圈一圈,掌握农场上动物和水果的种类,通过跟读、齐读、角色朗读,充分熟悉课文内容,最后填空形式的复数,加深巩固学生对课文内容的记忆。)
