经贸英语口语2 Spoken English for International Business 2 一、课程基本信息 学 时:32 学 分:2 考核方式:考核(平时成绩占总成绩的60%) 中文简介:经贸英语口语课程2是在经贸英语口语1的基础上增设的,是对国际 贸易专业学生英语应用能力的进一步提升。伴随国际贸易课程在我国高等院校的普 及,为了进一步提高国贸学生的英语水平,了解与之相关的国际商务英语知识而开设 的。随着我国加入WTO,我国经济与世界经济的联系越来越密切,国际商务已成为日 常生活中最热门的词汇之一,由此也需要越来越多的国际商务人才。随之也产生了一 个迫切需要解决的问题,国际商务的专业英语水平急需提高。随着我国改革开放的不 断深入发展,我国与国外的经济交往日渐频繁。国际商务业务人员不仅要掌握业务知 识,还要能用外语同外商交流。而与普通日常英语口语不同的是,国际商务英语专业 性较强,需要作为专业的课程来开设。为此我们系统地、逐步深入地开设了《国际商 务英语》、《国贸英语口语1》、《国贸英语听力》,本门课程《经贸英语口语2》正是在 此基础上而开设的。为了进一步地培养学生在国际商务种实际和研究工作中运用英语 的能力,为了让学生更多地了解跨文化交际地重要性,课程通过大量阅读相关商务英 语的材料, 内容 财务内部控制制度的内容财务内部控制制度的内容人员招聘与配置的内容项目成本控制的内容消防安全演练内容 包括经济全球化、文化与国际贸易、政策与法律、国际市场进入等领 域,扩大学生的知识面,加深学生对跨文化交流的理解,培养学生对跨文化交流的了 解和熟悉程度,提高学生在商务领域里运用熟练运用英语语言技能的能力。 二、教学目的与要求 Lesson One welcoming clients Conduct the activities related to the theme of greeting and introduction. Practice the skills of communication: 1. First impression, 2. Order of introduction, 3. Order of introduction for people in groups, 4. Welcome new clients 5. Introduction Lesson Two seeking business opportunity It seems the reasons companies pursue international business to expand sales, acquire resources, diversify source of sales and supplies, and minimize competitive risk—would 1 have applied in earlier periods as well. Conduct the activities related to the theme of seeking business opportunities. Practice the skills of communication: (1). The channel to get acquainted (2). Introducing company and business scope (3). Establishing trade relations Lesson Three The Importance of International Trade Trade as a engine of growth. The export sector was the leading sector that propelled these economies into rapid growth and development. That is international trade functioned as an engine of growth for these nations during the nineteenth century. (1)trade can lead to the full utilization of otherwise underemployed domestic resources.(2)trade can makes possible division of labor and economies of scale.(3)international trade is the vehicle for the transmission of new ideas, new technology, and new managerial and other skills. Lesson Four business appointment and arrangement Corporation culture, which is also called, organizational culture, is a specific atmosphere under which the whole company strive for the objectives. Both of the spirit and the atmosphere distinguish the company form others, and influence and guide the company staff’s practices in their work. Know the importance of business appointment and arrangement. Lesson Five Offer and counter offer Form the functions of skills of communication. Conduct the activities to the theme of Indefinite offer and counter offer. practice the skills of communication: Offer, Firm-offer, offer/Non-firm offer, Counter-offer, Strategy of making an offer, tips of making concession while negotiating. Lesson Six at the commodity fair In recent years, as the industry has grown and development has gradually become a coming property market, but because the market has a shorter time in the management and operation of the market have many deficiencies, particularly low degree of marketization with the industry lack of a fair competition mechanism.
