Read the new words by phonetic symbols on P101.Then draw new words in line and mark Chinese

归纳stop 的用法:stop to do sth.与stop doing sth.的区别
(1)stop doing sth.是“停止做某事”,doing是stop 的宾语,是要停止的动作。如: The two girls
stopped talking when they saw me.那两个女孩一见到我就停止了讲话。
(2)stop to do sth.是“停下来开始做某事”,to do是stop的状语,表示目的,是要开始做的事情。如:
The two girls stopped to talk to me when they saw me.这两个女孩一看到我就停下来和我讲话。

Preshow:Show in groups.(Time:six minutes)
Task 1:1.First,the students read the words and phrases in groups.Then,read together and sum
up the usage of the words in groups,then mark the difficult words in pronunciation and understanding.(they can ask the teacher for help)
2.The teacher asks students to turn to P101 and read the contents in 1a in a rapid way. Rank
these items from the easiest (1) to the most difficult (5),and then finish “I can write” in Task
1. Next,discuss the answers with their partners.
Task 2:1.Listen to the tape for the first time and check the things that Julia and Jack talk about.
2(Next listen again,check the things that Julia is doing,will do in the future and she would never do. Finally discuss together.
Task 3:1.First,the students discuss and check the answers in“I can translate” in Task 3 in
group.Then,discuss and set scenes to perform the dialogues.At last,write show contents on each other's notebooks.

3(Students try to summarize the usage of “stop” by previewing 1a?1e and then discuss in groups,find the difficult points that they don't understand.
