Please note the information on other dangers and possible countermeasures in the following chapters. Please note the following residual hazards and possible countermeasures when working with the device. Some of our units are equipped with a safety clutch. This is for example the case for units which handle magazines, although there are sometimes other units where a safety clutch may be necessary. Fig. 2 - 1Safety clutch Every inserter or extractor whose purpose lies in either pulling PCBs out of a magazine or inserting PCB into a magazine, is equipped for safety reasons with a safety clutch. The clutch is set at the factory to slip when a force of more than 3,0kg ? 0,5kg is applied against the direction of travel. This prevents any damages if the inserter or extractor come up against any unexpected obstacles. The setting for the safety clutch is adjusted at the factory before delivery and should not be changed. A setting which is too high can lead to damage to the unit or injury to persons, since there is a possibility that the magazine can be pushed from the platform or that a PCB could shatter. To set up the safety clutch, you will find in the appendix a set up manual for this purpose. (As long as the unit in question has components equipped with a safety clutch). 2.3.1.2 The danger of tripping over mains cables that have been laid incorrectly Lay the connecting cable in such a way that nobody can trip over it. Stick it firmly to the floor if it can not be - 13 - fed directly to the equipment either from above or below. Protective equipment such as covers and doors that are secured by safety key switches interrupt the automatic operating mode if they are opened. This safety equipment can be removed from service using a key switch in order to perform special operating functions, or to provide the „qualified person” or „service engineer” with a better view for installation purposes. These people are personally responsible for the safekeeping of the key. The following must always be complied with: 以下几点要始终坚持遵守: 1. A responsible person must keep the key to this switch somewhere where it is inaccessible to others. 2. The „qualified person” or the „service engineer” may only use the key switch. 3. The key switch may only be used for the above mentioned purposes. 4. The safety key switches must be returned to service for the normal operating mode. 5. The person responsible must remove the key again. 6. The person responsible must lock the key away again. The fact that some safety equipment is taken out of service makes the system freely accessible. This entails the risk of injury to people or damage to the system through tampering. Therefore it is essential to ensure that during movements performed in the special operating mode „Installation“, the equipment is not tampered with and that there are no objects in it (e.g. tools). The „qualified person“ or the „service engineer“ in the installation operating mode may only operate the equipment. In order to maintain or clean the device the installation safety has to be fixed and the device as well as air pressure of the filter regulation have to be switched off. The main switch has to be locked with a personal padlock in order to avoid an unintentional switch on. The subsequent requisite work must be carried out with due care and attention. In the small interior space of the device, there is a slight risk that the person carrying out the work could scratch themselves on corners or edges, although the production process does endeavour to ensure that the parts have no sharp edges or corners. Do not loosen a compressed air line without making sure that the corresponding air service unit is pressureless by opening the hand slide discharge valve or alternatively by closing the main valve of the compressed air supply. The code number requested in the configuration may only be known to one authorised person and may not be passed on by this person to unauthorised persons. Passwords are only relevant at machines with PC integration. The password requested in the configuration may only be known to one authorised person and may not be passed on by this person to unauthorised persons. There are no other factors that pose a threat to objects, property or the environment. 2.4 ESD guidelines防静电放电指导 2.4.1 What does ESD mean? Almost all of the modules in use today are equipped with highly integrated MOS blocks and components. The - 15 - manufacturing techniques used mean that these electronic components are extremely sensitive to overvoltage and thus to electrostatic discharge. The abbreviation for such modules is „ESD“ (Electrostatic Sensitive Device). This is used internationally, although the German abbreviation „EGB“ may also be seen. The following symbol on cabinet rating plates, racks or packaging indicates that components which are sensitive to electrostatic discharge have been used and thus that the modules concerned are also touch-sensitive. ESDs can be destroyed by voltage and power levels that are far below the level that can be perceived by humans. Such voltage occur if a person touches a component or module without earthing themselves. Components that are exposed to such overvoltage do not generally appear to be defective immediately - incorrect behaviour starts after the component or module has been in operation for some time. 2.4.2Important measures to protect against static charging防止带静电的重要措施 –Most plastics can easily become charged and must therefore be kept away from at-risk components. –Always ensure that people, the workplace and packaging are safely earthed when handling electrostatic sensitive components. Do not touch electronic modules unless it is absolutely essential to do so in order to carry out other work. If it is necessary, make sure that you do not touch the pins or printed conductors when you pick up flat modules. Do not touch components unless –you are constantly earthed by an ESD wrist strap or –you are wearing ESD shoes or ESD shoe earthing strips on an ESD floor. Always earth yourself before touching an electronic module. To do this, simply touch a conductive and earthed object - 16 - immediately before you touch the module (such as unpainted parts of a switch cabinet, a water pipe, etc.). Do not allow modules with chargeable and highly insulating materials to touch one another, e.g. plastic films, insulating table surfaces or items of clothing made from synthetic fibers. Always place the modules on a conductive surface (table with an ESD coating, conductive ESD foam, ESD bag or container). Do not bring modules near visual display units, monitors or televisions. Keep them at least 10 cm away from the screen. 10cm。 2.4.4Measurements and modifications to ESD modules ESD模块的测量和修正 Do not take measurements on such modules unless –the measuring device is earthed (e.g. via PE conductors) or –you discharge the measuring head just before taking measurements with a potential-free measuring device (e.g. by touching an unpainted metal part of the controller casing). –Always use an earthed soldering iron if you carry out any soldering work. 2.4.5Dispatching ESD modules模块分派 –Always store modules and components in conductive packaging (e.g. metallized plastic bags or metal sleeves) and dispatch them in conductive packaging. If the packaging is not conductive, place the modules in a conductive envelope before packaging. (Use ESD bags, domestic aluminium foil or paper, for example. NEVER use plastic bags or film). –If the module has integral batteries, ensure that the conductive packaging does not touch or short-circuit the battery terminals and, if necessary, first cover the terminals with insulating tape or material. One emergency stop switch may be present on the machine. This switch will be found at an easily visible and easily accessible location on the machine. The unit is switched on of off with the main switch. When the machine is switched off it is currentless. An exception to this is the main switch itself and possible other components which may remain live even after the machine has been switched off. These components are labelled accordingly. This is a combination switch which is used as the main power switch and at the same time also as an emergency stop switch. If this switch is present, there is no extra emergency-stop switch present as shown in section 2.5. Fig. 2 - 6Warning sticker on main switch and line filter If the unit is equipped with a PC and inherent software, we call the attention of the operator of the unit to the fact, that there is the possibility of data loss due to technical failure. Thus, in the interest of the operator, it is strongly advised to make backup copies of necessary data on suitable media. - 19 - These should be stored at another suitable location and not on the machine. Should the operator fail to carry out data protection while processing important data, he will be considered as acting grossly negligent. Our liability is limited only to the recovery of lost data from the existing safety copies. If the operator fails to produce the necessary safety copies for data recovery, we are exempt from any liability. 2.7.1 Software and Computer Viruses Even in today's state-of-the-art technology, there is the possibility that even original data media direct from the software manufacturer may contain so called computer viruses. We can assure that we have taken all necessary precautions not to spread any such viruses on our products. It is however impossible even with today's advanced methods to recognise all mutations of these viruses and to prevent them causing damage. However, should it be proved that a computer virus has been transferred to a customer's unit, we are only liable in so far as it can be proved that we have spread this virus deliberately or with gross negligence. The customer herewith exempts us from checking originally packaged software for computer viruses and also exempts us from any liability resulting from damages caused by viruses of this software. The SIS 01 is used to check for breaks in the edges of solar cells. The solar cells are transported into the unit on a conveyor and illuminated from below with a special light source. A camera positioned above the conveyor checks the cell for faults and if the breaks in the cell are not within certain quality limits then the cell is not accepted and the machine will stop or optionally the machine may be equipped with - 20 - an automatic removal system for the „bad“ cells. The operator may also define an inspection frequency independent for the tester, so that the cells are stopped on the conveyor for manual inspection irrespective of the tester result. In both cases, the operator must open the safety cover, manually remove the cell, close the cover again and acknowledge this with the „confirm“ button on the front panel of the machine so that the machine may continue in automatic mode. The operator may also decide after inspection that a cell is good and insert the cell back onto the conveyor. This must also be acknowledged with the „confirm“ button. Cells which are classified as good are transported to the following unit. In relation to control and Set-up, the machine is split up into 2 parts; the breakage control tester and the handling. The breakage control software is PC controlled and the conveyors are controlled with A CAN M3 controller. The only interaction between these two parts which is of relevance to the operator is the transfer of the good/bad signal from the tester to the handling. The unit is operated using a PC-based interface. Within the menus it is possible to make all entries necessary for operation of the unit using a numerical keyboard. The PC also has a complete keyboard, which is used to set up specific configurations in the software menu. This keyboard is however not necessary during normal operation of the unit. Using the arrow keys on the numerical keyboard it is possible to select the various operating fields within the software menus. - 21 - Fig. 3 - 1Monitor and operating panel Fig. 3 - 2Operating panel 3-3 CAN/P50 The function keys of the CAN-P50 cover the following functions: CAN-P50的功能键包括以下功能: Hand:calls up the manual mode. 启动手动模式 ?and Alt:calls up the configuration menu. 激活配置菜单 „Alt”:In stand-by mode this calls up the parameter menu. Start / Stop:starts automatic mode and switches the unit into stand-by. ?: cursor-key to page down to the previous menu. The data is analysed and a good/bad signal is sent according to the test results. If the cell has been classified as "bad" the machine stops and the operator must open the cover and manually remove the cell for inspection. The operator may now visually inspect the cell and choose to remove it from the line if it is bad or feed it back into the line if it is good. If the operator decides the cell is good, then it is placed back onto the conveyor and after pressing the "Confirm" button, the cell is fed back into the line. If the operator decides that the cell is "Bad" then he must also close the cover and press the "Confirm" button and the machine continues in automatic mode. 4 Assembling and installing the device设备安装 WARNING警告 Work on a system that is not (yet) properly service engineers from the manufacturing company may only carry out set up. The machines can be operated using two different power supplies, 230 V / 50 Hz or 110 V / 60 Hz. The cell is checked by means of a transmitted light which is a reliable method for detection of chipped or broken cell edges. If a fault is detected, a semi-automatic process feeds the cell out of the machine. The lighting unit is positioned directly under the cell so that the system is insensitive to reflection produced by multi-crystalline structures. With this system it is possible to check printed as well as non-printed cells. The breakage control machine is a PC controlled machine consisting of a picture processing software, a lighting unit and a conveyor for transporting the cells through the machine. PC for picture processing and control 图象处理和控制的计算机 CCD-camera with lens 带镜头的CCD-相机 Lighting unit 闪光单元 Monitor and keyboard 显示器和键盘 The CCD camera is installed above the conveyor and has a field of vision corresponding to the size of the cell. The lighting unit is positioned directly under the conveyor belts so that the cell is seen by the camera simply as a dark silhouette. The surface structure is therefore of little importance. The pictures taken by the camera are displayed on the monitor.CCD The machine can be operated manually or in continuous operation in the automatic mode. All machine operating elements are clearly labelled on the main page and are selected using the cursor keys. The currently selected operating element is highlighted and the function is activated with the „Enter“ key. Some of the keys have integrated „LEDs“ which indicate to the operator the current status of the corresponding function. In general a green LED indicates that the function has been carried out successfully and a red LED indicates that the function must be carried out again or an error has occurred. If the LED is grey, this shows that the function associated with the key is inactive or that the function has been carried out successfully. If the operator is required to make an entry, to cancel or acknowledge a process, then the corresponding message appears on the screen. The continuing operation of the machine is dependent on the operator’s input. - 26 - Example 1: Would you like to save the program? Example 2: Protocol after a faulty measurement The main menu consists of the following elements: The „Automatic“ function starts or stops the machine. The machine may however only be started if there are currently no faulty cells in the unit and a successful system check has been carried out. After successful start of the automatic mode, the other buttons are now inactive. The automatic mode can be stopped by pressing the key again. The LED on the key indicates the current automatic status: Green: Machine is currently in the automatic mode Red: Error has occurred and the automatic mode has been stopped. Grey: Machine is not in the automatic mode. This function is used to make an optical measurement of the cell currently under the camera and to check for possible faults. When the current measurement quality has not been reached, an error message is shown. This function can also be used to manually feed cells into the line. To do this, a cell is manually placed under the camera and the „Measurement“ function is activated. The cell is then measured and checked and is then handled as a normal cell as though it has been transported into the machine from the previous unit. In normal mode the optical breakage machine always works with snapshots. As soon as a cell arrives under the camera, a picture is made and this is used to measure the position of the cell and to check the edges for faults. With the „Live“ function, pictures are made continuously. This can be useful for example if the cell has to be manually positioned or the camera is being set up. To stop the „Live“ function, press the key again and the last picture which was made will be displayed on the monitor. Press the "Program data" function to enter the data menu which will be described later. The name of the currently loaded program is displayed in the right hand field. In the fields shown above, all parameters necessary for operation of the machine are entered. A measurement line is used for breakage control. The line corresponds to the contour of the cell and machine checks along this line for any light shining through which would indicate a break in the edge of the cell. The shape of this line is set up using the parameters format and diameter (Ø). The gap between the measurement line and the edge of the cell is defined in the field Margin. The size of the solar cell to be processed is defined here. The dimensions entered are the length of the pseudo square, although the cell itself may have rounded edges, which are accounted for later. Use the „Plus“ and „Minus“ keys to select one of the pre-defined formats. The selected format has an effect on the dimensions of the measurement line as well as the stop position of the cell under the camera. In this field, a value is entered to compensate for any rounded edges the cell may have. This setting has an effect on the shape of the measurement line. The machine checks along this line for any light shining through which would indicate a break in the cell. The diameter corresponds to the diameter of the smallest circle which the solar cell fits into i.e the more rounded the edges of the cell, the smaller the diameter of the corresponding circle. See diagram below. The diameter can be measured on the diagonal between rounded corners of the solar cell. If a cell is being used which does not have a rounded edge, then this value simply corresponds to the length of the diagonal. When processing cells without rounded edges it is not a problem if diameters are entered which are too large. In this field, the distance of the measurement line from the edge of the solar cell is entered. This measurement is valid for the 2 edges where the solar cell’s position is measured. The gap to the remaining edges can be calculated using the actual size of the cell and the selected format. With a format of 100_x_100_mm, a margin of 1 mm and a diameter of at least 141 mm, the measurement line has a square shape with an edge length of 98 mm. The gap to the 2 outer edges of the cell used for position measurement is 1mm and the distance to the other edges is defined by the actual size of the cell. If the cell has exactly the correct selected size then the gap to the measurement line is the same on all sides. The parameter „margin “ defines the maximum depth of breaks on the edge of the cell. 5.8.4 MQ (Minimum quality) (最小测量质量) After the measurement has been defined with the entries margin and diameter (Ø), it is then projected onto the cell and positioned accordingly. The cell is then inspected along the measurement line for any light shining through and the ratio of the line which can be seen (i.e through breaks in the cell edge) to non-broken line (i.e light which cannot be seen due to no breaks in the cell) is defined as the measurement quality. If there are no breaks in the line, this corresponds to a measurement quality of 100%. Product-specific settings can be saved in program files which are managed in this menu. Program files can be loaded, saved and deleted. It is also possible to add program information in the form of text. In the left hand window, a list of the available program files are displayed. Later on it will be more likely that existing programs will be loaded and these will be adjusted accordingly and saved under a new name. The following procedure is recommended for setting up a new cell: 1. Remove all cells from the conveyor and carry out a reference run via the handling software. 2. Measure the cell width and select the corresponding cell format. 3. Measure the cell diagonal and enter this value as the diameter. 4. The margin parameter must be selected so that cells with the minimum dimensions can also be easily detected. 5. If absolutely no breakages are to be tolerated then set the „Minimum quality“ value to 100%. Smaller values means of course that the tolerance of the inspection will change accordingly. 6. You may check the parameters diameter, margin and minimum quality again with a test measurement. If you - 33 - transport a cell into the machine with the „Transport“ key, a measurement is made automatically. 7. Manually place a cell onto the conveyor and then press the „Measure“ button. If all parameters are set correctly then a line appears which follows the contour of the cell at a few mm inside. 8. Now open the program menu and save the settings under a name of your choice. . After the machine is restarted, the program which was last loaded is automatically called up. The other saved product-specific data can be called up again at any time. 1. Press the Program data key to go to the corresponding menu: 2. Use the plus and minus keys to select the required program. 3. Now press the „Load“ key to load the product specific parameters. The automatic mode is the normal mode of the machine. When this mode is active, individual functions cannot be carried out. The machine requests a call via the interface and the cell is transported on the conveyor into position under the camera. The camera now takes a picture and the measurement of the cell’s position is made and the edges of the cell are checked. If the quality of the cell corresponds to the currently set quality value, then the cell is transported to the following unit. If the quality of the cell falls below the required value, the automatic mode is stopped and the operator must remove and acknowledge the cell. - 34 - During the measurement, the following steps are carried out: 1. Cell is in position and the camera takes a picture of it. 2. Search for the edge points within the 3 measurement windows. This defines the actual position of the cell. 3. A measurement line corresponding to the entered parameters is projected into the picture of the solar cell. 4. Analysis along the measurement line using grey tone analysis, calculation of the measurement quality and comparison with the desired value (MQ). 5. If the measurement quality is high enough the cell is transported to the following machine. If the measurement quality is too low, the automatic mode is stopped, The machine informs the operator of any errors which occur during the operation of the machine. The error can be through mistakes in entries made by the operator, inconsistencies in the plausibility check, values falling below the limits in the automatic mode or missing signals from the machine controller (e.g cover open). The corresponding error message is then shown in plain text in a dialogue box on the display. The message must be „answered“ by the operator with the corresponding action or in some cases must simply be acknowledged before the machine can continue to operate. Configuration is used to set the necessary operating parameters. These are the basic settings which, as a rule, only have to be carried out when the system is put into operation for the first time. These settings can be changed later, but these changes should only be made by trained staff. . Numerical values can be entered using the cursor keys and the Alt key as follows: The flashing cursor can be moved to the position to be altered using the Alt key. During this the cursor moves from right to left from position to position. 2. The numerical value can be increased or decreased using the cursor keys „” and „” at the active position. 3. If possibilities for selection are presented in the menus, these can be paged through in both directions using the cursor keys. 4. Entries in the menus are only applied when the „Enter” key is pressed after the settings have been changed. Then the display automatically jumps into the next menu. From the final menu the display returns to the stand-by mode. 5. If entries are not to be applied, the „Start/Stop” key should be pressed instead of the „Enter” key. 6. The configuration menu is called up in Stand-by mode using the „” key and the „Alt” key. These keys should be pressed immediately after each other. 1. 2. „?” and „?” at the active position. The language used in the display is set using this menu. These values can be saved as a group with an identity number. This identity number and therefore the corresponding parameters can then be called up after starting the unit. Switch the unit on at the main switch and confirm the following emergency stop message with the „Enter” button. The unit is now in stand-by mode. 2. You must first enable the identity number function in the configuration menu. To reach the menu press the key combination „F4” and „Para”; The keys are to be pressed one after the other in the order indicated. 3. If you only wish to change the identity number then press the „Enter“ button until you reach the menu „Identity number“. 1 在电源开关处接通本单元,并且用„Enter”键确认紧急停止信息。 Fig. 14 - 1Activate identity number- CAN P100 图14-1 激活识别码- CAN P100 - 70 - Fig. 14 - 2Activate identity number- CAN P50图14-2 激活识别码- CAN P50 4. Use the cursor keys „?” and „?” to switch the function on or off. Use the „Stop” key if you wish to abort the operation and go back to the base position. The last entry will not be valid. 14.1.2Entering the identity number (Set up mode) You must now enter your parameters in the „Set-up“ mode as described previously in the user manual. To reach the „Set-up“ mode press the „Para“ button whilst in stand-by mode. 6. You can store the set of values which you have just entered under an identity number. It is only possible to make a change to this value from the stand-by mode. 7. The identity number consists of a 2-digit number and an 8-digit identification number. Die 2-digit number is the value which is entered when the unit is switched on. The identification number is used for identification of the chosen program. 5. Fig. 14 - 3Entering the identity number - CAN P100 图14-3 输入识别码- CAN P100 - 71 - Fig. 14 - 4Entering the identity number- CAN P50图14-4 输入识别码- CAN P50 8. As soon as parameters are stored under a „2-digit number“, the „identification number“ will automatically count up 1 (e.g. 00000000 automatically goes to 00000001). This value can be changed on demand by the operator and is only used to identify what information is stored behind the corresponding 2-digit number. 8. For this purpose it may be useful to use for example to use the number of the PCB in question, or of the magazine. This is left to your discretion. 9. Use the cursor keys to change the value. Use the „?” or „?” keys to move to the digit which you wish to change and then use the „?” and „?” keys to higher or lower the value. 9. You can store up to 100 differing sets of parameters (2- Digit number, 00-99) and call them up using the „?” and „?” keys. 10. Using the "Enter" key will confirm the identity number and you are taken to the following menu. The following set of parameters are those which are stored under this identity number. 10. If necessary it is possible to alter the values for stored under an already existing identity number. As soon as you confirm an altered parameter, this parameter is accepted for the current identity number. Should you not wish to change anything, press the „Stop“ key and you will return to the Stand-By Mode. 11.The present identity number can be viewed by pressing the „Start“ key after the unit has been switched on and must - 72 - be confirmed by pressing „Enter“. Using the Cursor keys „?” and „?” you can scroll between other previously stored identity numbers. In some cases however it may be necessary to enter a password before an identity number other than the present one can be entered. Fig. 14 - 5Choosing the identity number 图14-5 选择识别码 15 Appendix – Maintenance 附件-维护 N.
