PSSI's MDC software provides field officers extensive capabilities within the CAD system. CAD entries such as calls for service, messaging CAD operators and other field officers, reduce unnecessary voice interaction. The PSSI MDC Software eliminates extended radio transmissions and reduces the interruption of standard CAD transactions and operation. Officers are capable of communicating their status by MDC function that relieves dispatchers of interaction while handling other responsibilities. PSSI MDC Software provides field officers CAD entries from dispatchers such as location of Calls for Service, cross streets, map x-y coordinates, call type, complainant information, and premise history/hazards. Field officers are able to control their actions without interruption over the radio to the dispatcher. Each MDC/CAD user must "sign-on/log-on" to the system. Once the user enters their ID number and password, the system checks the security module to provide appropriate access based on this security validation and settings by the Department's system administrator. The PSSI Field Reporting system is completely integrated with the RESPONSE CAD system, IN-Field Mobile Data system and ICIS RMS system. This provides for complete workflow from the field officer, to supervisor to RMS system while eliminating the need for paper reports and entry by RMS personnel to the ICIS system. The Field Reporting solution increases officer visibility on the street by reducing report entry time, elimination of redundant entry of data and reducing the need for officer to complete their reports in-station. The Mobile Field Reporting Software also incorporates the ability to query Master Name, Master Vehicle and Master Location Modules to retrieve and append existing data in the ICIS RMS system to reports. Field officers are provided the following field reporting forms: , Offense/Incident , Involved Parties , Traffic Accident , Suspect , Field Contacts , Victims , Citation , Arrest , Vehicles , Property PSSI designed ICIS IN-Form with the same user-friendly atmosphere that our other applications were founded upon. ICIS IN-Form does not confuse users with small screens or multiple windows. The Field Reporting system provides a lot of the same functions, look and feel, and workflow of the ICIS RMS system. Field officers are provided with easy to use Report Forms, drop-down menus of valid codes, and easy movement between fields via the TAB key. Officers have the capability to save incomplete drafts locally, save drafts to the server for future completion, submit reports to supervisors for review, and final submission to the RMS system for final approval and review by records staff.
