Your advertisement for an English teacher in the July 2nd Student Daily interested me because the position that you described sounds exactly like the kind of job I am seeking.
According to the advertisement, your position requires English major graduator from normal university, and those with bachelor or above degree as well as strong professional skills and team spirit are preferred. I think I am competent to apply for this position.
I major in English and graduated from the Northwest Normal University this year with a bachelor degree. During my four years’ education, I have grasped the principals and skills English teaching; my overall GPA ranked among the top 3 in my class of 30 students. Not only did I pass the TEM-4, TEM-8, but also I got certificates of Test of Professional English and the computer two level. I also accumulated a large deal of teaching experience by teaching in the Friendship Tutoring Center for two
vacations. Besides, I participated actively in various social activities to enhance my social communicative and cooperative ability. More importantly, my amiable, patient and easy-going characters greatly qualify me to be an excellent English teacher; therefore, I am confident that the combination of my practical experience of teaching and solid educational knowledge has prepared me to make an immediate contribution to your department.
