Thank to my friends
If I hadn’t met you, if you hadn’t become my friends, I wouldn’t have been the one now I am. This is from one of the letters I ever wrote to my friends.
Though there is much to be concerned about in our life, there is far more to be thankful, one of which is that we have friends. When we feel the coldness of wind-blowing, our hearts covered in foggy shadows, our friends will always stand by us, even without words. When we smell the sweetness of flowers as we make sort of achievement, our friends will pride for us, being happy as they do.
I remember we, at that time, walked though together the most suffering time, complained occasionally, and then brazenly hanged out the little store outside the campus for relaxation. That was a time of staying together, even going to the toilet. We took each other’s hands, gossiped love or funny stories in the campus, and always rushed into the classroom as soon as the bells rang.
I remember we, at that time, looked forward to the colorful free university life, enraptured with claim to escape our homeland, and promised to move forward together regardless of whatever we encounter. We have different dreams but we have the same goal.
Now we have respective stories on different stages. Wondering in the college campus, we try to find the similarities. The more accustomed to university life, the more we have friends. But those who know our past quite well are not seen frequently. We begin to expect every meeting in the vacation. We begin to restrain our feelings, not wantonly laughing of weeping any more. We begin to learn to become a more mature and charming one before we meet next time.
I remember our every meeting, I cherish our every word, I miss every one of my friends. Friends are those who share both sunshine and rainbow. And my friends, more than the pictures we have taken, more than the time we have been together, are some of the most cherished guys in my mind.
