Schengen Tourist and Business Visa:
I. APPLICATION:
− ALL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED IN ORIGINAL FORM + 1 COPY.
− DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED ARE NOT RETURNED
II. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
− 2 application forms: click here
− Original Passport and ID and 1 copy. Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as of date
of entry requested.
− 2 passport size photos (white background).
− Alien Residence Card (Green-Card) or residence visa valid in USA (except B-1, B-2).
− Round Trip Flight RESERVATION is required. It is highly recommended not to confirm the reservation
or buy the ticket until you get your visa.
− Hotel reservations or letter of Invitation as issued by the "Policía Nacional" in Spain.
− Travel medical insurance document for Spain with a minimum coverage of €30,000 Euros necessarily
including "Repatriation Coverage". An Insurance card will NOT be accepted as proof of coverage.
− Proof of financial status: present your latest 3 bank statements.
− For professional or business trips you must submit an invitation from a company based in Spain, from
an organization to participate in a meeting, convention, fair or congress, etc., and
− Letter from employer stating your job title, length of time employed and annual salary or other proof of
ties with the U.S.
If you are financially independent, the last Income Tax Return. If you are self-employed, a Good
Standing Certificate issued by the Secretary of State.
− Students need to present a letter from their school or college.
− NON REFUNDABLE VISA FEES [click here] payable ONLY by “Money-Order”.
− When the applicant is a minor (under 18), notarized authorization letter to apply for a visa from the
parents or custodians is required.
− ONLY SELF-ADDRESSED AND PREPAID EXPRESS MAIL ENVELOPE (USPS) IS ACCEPTED
IF PASSPORT IS TO BE RETURNED BY CONSULATE SERVICES.
Any other type of courier or messenger service is not accepted.
Tracking of mailed items is the sole responsibility of the applicant.
