PlayTV™ can record when the PLAYSTATION®3 system is in standby mode. To put
your PLAYSTATION®3 system into standby mode, do one of the following:
• Press and hold the PS button to display the PS Menu, then choose “Turn Off the System”.
• Press and hold the PS button to display the PS Menu, then choose “Quit” to return to

NOTE: When two recordings are set so that one is due to start at the same time that the
other finishes, the first recording will always be given priority over the second recording.
This means that if the first programme being recorded overruns its designated time,
PlayTV™ will continue to record that programme. The second recording will only begin
when the first has finished. The process for stopping a PlayTV™ recording while playing a
game on your PS3™ system may change with future system enhancements.
Time Settings
Do not change the time settings of your PS3™ system after setting a recording in
PlayTV™, as this may affect the accuracy of the recording. Upon start-up, PlayTV™
takes approximately 30 seconds to synchronise the set recording times with broadcast
times. If you change the time settings of your PS3™ system you must start PlayTV™ and
let it run for one minute to ensure set recording times are resynchronised fully.

better for navigating parts of the Guide where longer programmes are displayed.
