新概念 第四册 学习 方法 快递客服问题件处理详细方法山木方法pdf计算方法pdf华与华方法下载八字理论方法下载 首先以新概念4每16课最为一个大单元，48课共分3个大单元进行。首先集中学习完新概念4每个大单元的16课。然后再开始集中背诵你所集中学完的这16课。 学习它的策略可以参照如下进行： 以听为主导 以读为辅助 以写为巩固 以说为自检 具体操作步骤是这样的：面对一篇新课文，首先先听一遍，看自己能听懂多少，然后记住哪里没有听懂，什么地方没有听懂。之后听录音，看课文同步跟读一遍。然后不看课文文字，听录音做一遍听读训练，借此再检查自己还有什么地方没有听懂。之后再听录音看课文跟读一遍，然后再合上书不看文字稿听读一遍，再记下自己的听力盲点。最后一遍再打开书和录音同步跟读一遍。做完这三遍后，进入第二步。开始读文章，读文章首先快速通读一遍，练习迅速把握文章主旨和主要细节的能力。然后开始从第一句开始逐句读，每读一句英文，然后对照看后面的汉语翻译比较自己的理解与翻译有什么不同。然后记住这些不同，比较理解后，你要记住。 在这里要指出的是，新概念4的汉语翻译中有些内容是有错误的，这点请大家注意。 做完精读训练后，再次重复刚才的听力训练---听读，跟读交替进行至少各5遍以记忆和弥补自己的听力盲点和缺陷，进一步提升自己的听力实力。 这样练习后，这一课就可以暂时放过去了，然后开始下一课。等一个大单元的16课都这样学完后。则暂时停止你的学习进度。开始集中背这16课。为了将你的背诵痛苦度降低到最低，同时又能高效率的把课文背下来，我不同程度的借鉴了各家学派的背诵方法并结合自己一个月背诵《词汇精选》红宝书单词的经验发明了一个方法，该方法仅供你作为参考。 背诵的具体方法如下： 1. 背诵前首先放慢速度仔细体味的将课文读一遍，由于之前已经做过精听，精读的分析，所以课文对你来说已经很熟悉了。如果不熟悉的话，那只能 说明 关于失联党员情况说明岗位说明总经理岗位说明书会计岗位说明书行政主管岗位说明书 你前面的工作没有做到家，这时候你需要重新做一遍。别怕麻烦，我可以负责任的告诉你，伟大的事迹的诞生都是这么熬出来的，切记切记！！！ 2. 读过这一遍后，开始一句一句看后面的中文译文在你的记忆上对课文的每一句话按顺序做汉译英翻译。翻译不出来或者忘了的地方或者不会的地方，翻回去再看课文，然后再背。这样一段一段的将一篇课文“吞噬”掉。 3. 然后就是这样反复几遍直到你能完全不看英文看着中文的翻译流利的将原文英文一个词不落的全部背出来。就这样就可以了（建议你每天至少背2课）。这样将16课背完后，开始继续学习下面另一个16课。学习完后，最关键的是记得每天必须接受最少4课的看中文迅速的背出课文的强化性训练。就象这样滚雪球一样的背诵。具体的进度可以参考《17天搞定单词》中背诵GRE红宝书的进度 计划 项目进度计划表范例计划下载计划下载计划下载课程教学计划下载 。这个计划对于背新概念也很有借鉴价值。 4. 经过了这样的背诵完成了第一遍对于48课课文的背诵，然后你需要继续以每天至少16课（一个大单元）的进度继续练习看中文翻译英文的背诵训练。3天为一轮，花15天时间将其进行5遍。之后开始以每天6课的进度练习不看中文脱稿背诵原英文。到达了这个阶段，你发现背诵新概念4是很容易的事，而且你已经成功在即。用不了多长时间，你已经发现你可以对新概念4课文中的每一句话都能琅琅上口。至此背诵的目的达到，你成功了。这里我要说明下，我的这个方法的策略是首先对语言采取总攻击，集中火力拿下语言并尽量淡化由于原文故事剧情给背诵者带来的巨大干扰。待背诵者将语言处理的达到琅琅上口的境地时，这个时候就可以加入故事剧情了。之前说过，新概念4出自各个流派的名家之手。对于新概念4册的学习者，领会原汁原味英语思维模式为主，语言学习为辅。故此新概念4中的课文出现了大量的长难句和英文高级词汇。甚至很多句子已经不再按照俗套的语法规则去写作。但达到新概念4册的学习者应该明白的是这个阶段的你应该以学习和领会idea为主，语言作为深邃思想表达的工具来说已经不那么重要了。基于此，我们背诵新概念4的还远远没有结束。俗话说熟读唐诗三百首，不会作诗也会吟。那么下面应该进行什么呢？且看第5步。 5. 就像背单词一样，我们要将每天6课书的这种背诵继续延续下去。这样8天就可以背完一遍全书。到了这个熟练度的你，每天背6课新概念4绝对是能在20分钟以内完成的。也就是说每天你只需要拿出20分钟的时间来练习背6课书即可。个人认为至少要将新概念4以这种脱稿的模式背上30遍才可，这个大概需要半年左右的时间。别吝啬你每天的20分钟来做这件事，但我可以告诉你，实际上你每一次背都会有不同的体会。你重复的次数越多，你的语言交际能力和提升潜力就会越大。你想想能琅琅上口的将新概念4课文娓娓道来将意味着什么？你去读读后面的中文就可以知道这些文章都是什么难度级的文章。假如你这样重复30遍的训练，那么将来你的英语口语表达也绝对是这个档次的。这么来说，你和美国的“央视名嘴”能有一拼了吧~~~，即使你不在美国发展，回国的话，呃~~~ 下面的我不敢想了，最近睡眠规律的失调已经很严重了，看在这份上您就饶了我吧。另外需要补充的是，你有了新概念4的背诵作为基础，你就等于把自己提升了到了很高的一个层次，你的起点会比一般人都高很多很多。你是以新概念4水平作为起点的。因此以后你在接触你陌生的英语就会感到如有神助，过目不忘的精湛功力。这种背诵的积累对于你英语的听说读写译都是全面性的大幅度提升。怎么样，看到这里，你还犹豫吗？每个月都向银行存入一点钱建立你的个人保险基金，几十年下来其值难以限量；而每天都背诵积累一点新概念4并注入到你的英语语言应用，表达银行，那么一段时间后，这笔语言表达应用能力的财富同样是不可限量。所以如果你明白了，体会了这其中的道理，那就赶快行动吧。 新概念4一共48课，目前我只这样的训练做过前12课，但是感触颇深。如今时逢飞越美利坚前夕，我深深的意识到这难得的，唯一的，宝贵的几个月是何等的重要。踏踏实实做一些真正有价值的事吧。放下投机取巧的幻想，认认真真的在时机未至之时尽量提升自身吧。只有这样做，才能在日后机会降临时做到出奇制胜。 Unit 1 Lesson 1 Finding fossil man 发现化石人 We can read of things that happened 5,000 years ago in the Near East, where people first learned to write. But there are some parts of the word where even now people cannot write. The only way that they can preserve their history is to recount it as sagas -- legends handed down from one generation of another. These legends are useful because they can tell us something about migrations of people who lived long ago, but none could write down what they did. Anthropologists wondered where the remote ancestors of the Polynesian peoples now living in the Pacific Islands came from. The sagas of these people explain that some of them came from Indonesia about 2,000 years ago. But the first people who were like ourselves lived so long ago that even their sagas, if they had any, are forgotten. So archaeologists have neither history nor legends to help them to find out where the first 'modern men' came from. Fortunately, however, ancient men made tools of stone, especially flint, because this is easier to shape than other kinds. They may also have used wood and skins, but these have rotted away. Stone does not decay, and so the tools of long ago have remained when even the bones of the men who made them have disappeared without trace. One authority on spiders made a census of the spiders in grass field in the south of England, and he estimated that there were more than 2,250,000 in one acre; that is something like 6,000,000 spiders of different kinds on a football pitch. Spiders are busy for at least half the year in killing insects. It is impossible to make more than the wildest guess at how many they kill, but they are hungry creatures, not content with only three meals a day. It is true that during their explorations they often faced difficulties and dangers of the most perilous nature, equipped in a manner with would make a modern climber shudder at the thought, but they did not go out of their way to court such excitement. They had a single aim, a solitary goal -- the top! It is hard for us to realize nowadays how difficult it was for the pioneers. Except for one or two places such as Zermatt and Chamonix, which had rapidly become popular, Alpine village tended to be impoverished settlements cut off from civilization by the high mountains. Such inns as there were generally dirty and flea-ridden; the food simply local cheese accompanied by bread often twelve months old, all washed down with coarse wine. Often a valley boasted no inn at all, and climbers found shelter wherever they could -- sometimes with the local priest (who was usually as poor as his parishioners), sometimes with shepherds or cheese-makers. Invariably the background was the same: dirt and poverty, and very uncomfortable. For men accustomed to eating seven-course dinners and sleeping between fine linen sheets at home, the change to the Alps must have very hard indeed. One case concerns and eleven-year-old schoolgirl, Vera Petrova, who has normal vision but who can also perceive things with different parts of her skin, and through solid walls. This ability was first noticed by her father. One day she came into his office and happened to put her hands on the door of a locked safe. Suddenly she asked her father why he kept so many old newspapers locked away there, and even described the way they were done up in bundles. Vera's curious talent was brought to the notice of a scientific research institute in the town of Ulyanovsk, near where she lives, and in April she was given a series of tests by a special commission of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federal Republic. During these tests she was able to read a newspaper through an opaque screen and, stranger still, by moving her elbow over a child's game of Lotto she was able to describe the figures and colours printed on it; and, in another instance, wearing stockings and slippers, to make out with her foot the outlines and colours of a picture hidden under a carpet. Other experiments showed that her knees and shoulders had a similar sensitivity. During all these tests Vera was blindfold; and, indeed, except when blindfold she lacked the ability to perceive things with her skin. It was also found that although she could perceive things with her fingers this ability ceased the moment her hands were wet. If there is one -- which I take leave to doubt -- then it is older people who create it, not the young themselves. Let us get down to fundamentals and agree that the young are after all human beings -- people just like their elders. There is only one difference between an old man and a young one: the young man has a glorious future before him and the old one has a splendid future behind him: and maybe that is where the rub is. When I was a teenager, I felt that I was just young and uncertain -- that I was a new boy in a huge school, and I would have been very pleased to be regarded as something so interesting as a problem. For one thing, being a problem gives you a certain identity, and that is one of the things the young are busily engaged in seeking. I find young people exciting. They have an air of freedom, and they not a dreary commitment to mean ambitions or love of comfort. They are not anxious social climbers, and they have no devotion to material things. All this seems to me to link them with life, and the origins of things. It's as if they were, in some sense, cosmic beings in violent and lovely contrast with us suburban creatures. All that is in my mind when I meet a young person. He may be conceited, ill-mannered, presumptuous or fatuous, but I do not turn for protection to dreary cliches about respect of elders -- as if mere age were a reason for respect. I accept that we are equals, and I will argue with him, as an equal, if I think he is wrong. Even if one didn't know from concrete examples (the 1936 Olympic Games, for instance) that international sporting contests lead to orgies of hatred, one could deduce if from general principles. Nearly all the sports practised nowadays are competitive. You play to win, and the game has little meaning unless you do your utmost to win. On the village green, where you pick up sides and no feeling of local patriotism is involved, it is possible to play simply for the fun and exercise: but as soon as a the question of prestige arises, as soon as you feel that you and some larger unit will be disgraced if you lose, the most savage combative instincts are aroused. Anyone who has played even in a school football match knows this. At the international level, sport is frankly mimic warfare. But the significant thing is not the behaviour of the players but the attitude of the spectators: and, behind the spectators, of the nations who work themselves into furies over these absurd contests, and seriously believe -- at any rate for short periods -- that running, jumping and kicking a ball are tests of national virtue. To get a full appreciation of what this means we must turn first to some recent human inventions. Everyone knows that if he shouts in the vicinity of a wall or a mountainside, an echo will come back. The further off this solid obstruction, the longer time will elapse for the return of the echo. A sound made by tapping on the hull of a ship will be reflected from the sea bottom, and by measuring the time interval between the taps and the receipt of the echoes, the depth of the sea at that point can be calculated. So was born the echo-sounding apparatus, now in general use in ships. Every solid object will reflect a sound, varying according to the size and nature of the object. A shoal of fish will do this. So it is a comparatively simple step from locating the sea bottom to locating a shoal of fish. With experience, and with improved apparatus, it is now possible not only to locate a shoal but to tell if it is herring, cod, or other well-known fish, by the pattern of its echo. It has been found that certain bats emit squeaks and by receiving the echoes, they can locate and steer clear of obstacles -- or locate flying insects on which they feed. This echo-location in bats is often compared with radar, the principle of which is similar. No, say the American: our fowl are fine, we simply clean them in a different way. These days, it is differences in national regulations, far more than tariffs, that put sand in the wheels of trade between rich countries. It is not just farmers who are complaining. An electric razor that meets the European Union's safety standards must be approved by American testers before it can be sold in the United States, and an American-made dialysis machine needs the EU's okay before is hits the market in Europe. As it happens, a razor that is safe in Europe is unlikely to electrocute Americans. So, ask businesses on both sides of the Atlantic, why have two lots of tests where one would do? Politicians agree, in principle, so America and the EU have been trying to reach a deal which would eliminate the need to double-test many products. They hope to finish in time for a trade summit between America and the EU on May 28TH. Although negotiators are optimistic, the details are complex enough that they may be hard-pressed to get a deal at all. Why? One difficulty is to construct the agreements. The Americans would happily reach one accord on standards for medical devices and them hammer out different pacts covering, say, electronic goods and drug manufacturing. In those days wandering minstrels were welcome everywhere. They were not fighting men, and their harp was their passport. Alfred had learned many of their ballads in his youth, and could vary his programme with acrobatic tricks and simple conjuring. While Alfred's little army slowly began to gather at Athelney, the king himself set out to penetrate the camp of Guthrum, the commander of the Danish invaders. There had settled down for the winter at Chippenham: thither Alfred went. He noticed at once that discipline was slack: the Danes had the self-confidence of conquerors, and their security precautions were casual. They lived well, on the proceeds of raids on neighbouring regions. There they collected women as well as food and drink, and a life of ease had made them soft. Alfred stayed in the camp a week before he returned to Athelney. The force there assembled was trivial compared with the Danish horde. But Alfred had deduced that the Danes were no longer fit for prolonged battle: and that their commissariat had no organization, but depended on irregular raids. So, faced with the Danish advance, Alfred did not risk open battle but harried the enemy. He was constantly on the move, drawing the Danes after him. His patrols halted the raiding parties: hunger assailed the Danish army. Now Alfred began a long series of skirmishes -- and within a month the Danes had surrendered.
