2.TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Read RFQ/technical agreement and prepare clarification and deviation lists.
Estimate engineering resource, schedule and travel needs for tendering. Receive input from Process/System Engineer and produce basic plant layout and section views during tendering stage Optimize general arrangement and area arrangement according to project requirements and best economical-technical benefits.
Generate detailed layout drawing, and as-built drawing with the input from all related disciplines and site (Structural, Process, System, EI&C and Mechanical, etc.).
Prepare plant 3-D model.
Perform basic and detail engineering of piping, including fittings and piping hanger/rack, etc. Create and update relevant lists, fittings and installation material, etc. Prepare the piping specifications for inquiry and purchase. Provide technical clarification and evaluation for piping quotations.
Prepare and review calculation report and stress analysis report of pipe-work as needed.
Technical support to the manufacture, acceptance test and verification of the piping and component fabrication. Support site erection, commissioning, and testing of pipework 3.MAIN DUTIES: Support ECS Beijing layout & piping design, responsible for producing technical documents and drawings necessary for tendering works and project execution according to schedule and budget. 4.PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT: N/A
5.AUTHORITY
Grant overall access right to technical tools and folders. 6.QUALIFICATION, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE EDUCATION Bachelors Degree in Engineering required. MS/PhD is a plus. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Above 5 years of engineering experience in power plant, air pollution control system, or process plant design experience. Strong experience on layout & piping design. Good computer skills with engineering software including AutoCAD, PDMS and Caesar II, etc. Good organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in English Ability to work closely in a team environment. Demonstrates initiative,
professionalism and a commitment to quality.
Certified Engineer or Registered Engineer is preferred.
