阳明山国家公园向天池蚌虫之分类学鉴定及生活史研究 國立台灣大學生態學與演化生物學研究所 碩、博士專題討論摘要 日期：2007年3月23日 陽明山國家公園向天池蚌蟲之分類學鑑定及生活史研究 黃婉萍 周蓮香教授 陽明山向天池原是一個火山口，大雨來臨時，可積水而形成堰塞湖，池水將由火山口的底部緩緩滲出，經10~14天後逐漸乾涸，為一種短暫性池塘。池中孕育著特殊的小型甲殼類動物，包括豐年蟲和蚌蟲，牠們可以在短暫的池水中，快速完成生活史，並以休眠卵度過乾涸期，待下次大雨來臨時，再度孵化。 蚌蟲具有雙瓣型的頭胸甲，分類上屬於動物界、節肢動物門、甲殼 亞門、鰓足綱、雙甲目。依據形態和構造之特徵，我們發現向天池中的 蚌蟲應為兩物種，一種體型圓鈍，另一種體型扁長。由於這兩種向天池 蚌蟲尚無相關之研究報告，因此本研究將由鑑定著手，首先確定學名和 分類地位，其次認識其生活史之各項特徵，包括孵化時間、存活率、成熟年齡、成熟體長、最大壽命、最大體長、成長速率、性別比例等，以了解向天池蚌蟲的生存、生長與繁殖，並對向天池之生態提供具體的保育政策。 , Martin, J. Abstract: There are special organisms in the pool, such as fairy shrimps and clam shrimps. The water will infiltrated from the bottom of Siangtian pool, which makes it dried within about two weeks. It is interesting that fairy shrimps and clam shrimps are capable to complete their life cycles before dried up. They produce a lot of cysts to overcome the dried period. The cysts will be quickly hatched upon next heavy rain. Clam shrimps have a bivalve carapace. They belong to Kingdom Animalia, Phylum Arthropoda, Subphylum Crustacea, Class Branchiopoda, Order Diplostraca. According to their morphology and structures, we notice that there are two species of clam shrimps in Siangtian pool, one is spherical and the other is flattened. These clam shrimps have not been well studied. People even don’t know their scientific names and life histories. Therefore, this study is going to explore the clam shrimps in Yangmingshan Siangtian pool. First, identification needs to be confirmed. Then the traits in life history will be accomplished, including hatching time, survival rate, age at sexual maturity, length at sexual maturity, longevity, asymptotic length, growth rate, sex ratio, etc. Hope this study makes it valuable to conservation of Siangtian pool in Yangmingshan. , Martin, J.
