Question: Do you agree or disagree with the statement: People benefit more from traveling in their own country than from traveling to foreign coutries. All of us can see that the world now is becoming a whole unity with the rapid development , and at  the same time people’s living standard is aslo ramped up.Travelling is no longer a luxury imagination in people’s mind , but a new question emeges that how could people get the most benefits from travelling ? If it is up to me to decide with , I will choose the travelling to foreign countries. The diversity of the culture would be of great benefit to us .Our vision would be expanded by the communication with exotic people, who live in quiet different surroundings from ours and have various ideas maybe we never get. Last year I travelled to Thailand and I was attracted and astonished by its amazing and unique culture. Different countries have their own various civilization.In this case , a more direct and vivid impression of the whole world will appear in our own world .What the real world we live in looks like on earth?How different the perspectives of the people from another country from ours?Travelling provides us with an good opportunity to get closer to these questions.I even make friends with some of the local boys. And from that , we have more possibilities to regard the world in a wider and more sophisticated way. From another perspective to say, the good aspect of travelling abroad can be sensed in business.As the world is filled with chances and challenges,businessmen could find more ways to go when they are put in a cosmopolitan marketing system.Only by facing the whole world , will a businessman have the occation to be introduced to a world economic market.And as we all know,it is essential for a merchant to keep pace with the whole word as well as to get a clear picture of the current international condition.All these factors lead to people’s travelling to foreign countries.Take my experience as an example .The company I work in usually assigns us to another continent such as America or Canada to do marketing investigation.Such field work could provide more convincing ideas of what customers really desires for.Traders of a shaper mind,a more inspring insight, could get more access to the consumers’ needs and fit the current financial society. However, we still can’t disavow the advantages of travelling in our own country.Knowing more about our homeland and listening to native clients’ voices are still vital projects . But in my point of view, in order to achieve a new reality, why not us give ourselves a more spacious stage? Marvelous as it looks at first sight, modern technology does not help students learn information at a greater speed and with higher efficiency in most cases; or it could work towards the opposite direction which led students to lose their initiative to learn and explore. First of all, one property of modern technology is latently harmful to any learning mind – it distracts. One thing we feel about when we are searching for information online is that the internet, as an outstanding example of modern technology and even regarded as the innovator of education, provides us with not only relevant results to make use of, but also external links to click. More than once I turned on my computer to check school library for resources, but ended up watching Youtube videos. In this case, computer as a representative of modern technology plays a negative role in learning information. We do acquire more information with the convenient tool, yet most of them are irrelevant and in the end procrastinating would lower our learning. Also, students would easily become disoriented in the huge sea of information. Although modern technology could equip us with easy access to information, the huge amount of resources would actually leave us discombobulated . Therefore, it is only we possess information more quickly rather than we learn it more quickly. An illustrating example is my experience with a HK digital library which stores almost all the books I desire. At first I enjoyed downloading them from the database, however, one month later I ended up with hundreds of books stored in my hardware yet none of them finished or ever clicked. Furthermore, modern technology gives students an illusion that information and real knowledge is easy to learn – just by clicking mouse or watching videos. But in fact this forms only the first step towards useful information and effective learning, as learning of any kind requires full concentration and interactive thinking, which are almost absent in the pocess of popular e-learning experience.
