Wise men in history 教 材 分 析 教学目标 1. Students can read and recognize all the new words in this unit. 2. Students can master the main usage of the key words. 3. Students can use the new words to talk about Great men in history . 教学重点 Recognizing the new words. 教学难点 The usage of the key words to talk about famous people in history. 教学关键 The usage of the key words to talk about famous people in history. 教法与学法指导 Imitating and self-study ;cooperation. 教学环节 主要教学步骤或内容 学生主体活动 教师活动 设计意图 时间 分配 第一环节 复习回顾平移的基本性质,引入课题 Step 1.Guessing games; (who are the great people?) 1. Listen to the teacher carefully and guess who the great people are ?) 1.Use the PPT to give some hints and ask students to guess who the great people are.. 1.Lead students to learn about some famous people ,especially Archimedes which is related to the text . 5 第二环节 观察操作、探索归纳平移的作法 Step 2. Learn about the words in this unit according to the words list. Step 3.Learning the key words (self-study) 2.Read after the CD about the new words. 3.Recognize the new words as much as possible in every flash. 4.Self-study the usage of the key words: golden、Archimedes、agreement、truth seem、 solve 、 fill、less、hit 5.Discuss in Groups to check the learning sheet. 2.Play the CD for them and tell them the ways of reading. 3.Organize a game “magic eyes”. 4.Lead them to learn the key points on the learning sheet (list the usage of the key words and present some related exercises 5.Use the PPT to emphasize the answer. 2.let students get the standard pronunciation of the new words. 3.Cultivate their ability of self-study and cooperation as well as lead them to master the key words. 8 20 第三环节 课堂练习 Step 4 Competition. Using the new words to make different sentences . 6. Work in groups to make sentences using the new words. Try to make as many as possible. 6.Tell the students to compete to use the new words which group can make the most ones . 4.Lead them to recreate and compete. 5 第四环节 课时小结 Step 5 Summarize the better group and the learning words. 7. Discuss to tell the learning result and the better performance. 7. Encourage them to list their learning result and give marks to the better groups. 5.
